$10m-a-year NBA star Mike Conley’s home burglarized while he was attending Vikings game

Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley’s house in Minnesota was targeted by thieves while he attended a Vikings NFL game on Sunday.

Conley, who signed a new two-year, $21million extension with the Timberwolves back in February, took part in the Vikings’ traditional pregame ceremony on the field before their shock 23-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Yet as he helped pump up over 66,000 fans inside US Bank Stadium, the NBA star’s suburban Medina home was burglarized several miles away in the city.

According to The Minnesota Star Tribune, police chiefs confirmed that Conley’s property was one of three ransacked in the area last Sunday.

All of them are said to have been unoccupied at the time the break-ins occurred, and police believe at least two suspects are responsible.

The burglars left each property with an undetermined amount of jewelry after approaching each one from the backside and breaking in via windows on the ground level.

They are then believed to have entered bedrooms and taken valuable items, with each burglary lasting for approximately five minutes.

Medina Police Chief Jason Nelson says the thieves ‘may have done some surveillance or figured out some patterns’ on the people who lived there before entering the properties.

Surveillance footage captured the image of a car fleeing Conley’s home after the break-in, which authorities believe is associated with the suspects.

However, no arrests over the three burglaries have been made as of yet.

The NBA star also threw out the first pitch at the Twins' home ballpark earlier this month

Conley was named an NBA All-Star in 2021 and has been a key member of the Timberwolves roster since moving to Minnesota last year.

In his debut campaign he helped the team reach the Conference Finals, where they were beaten by the Dallas Mavericks.

As well as appearing on the field before the Vikings game, Conley also threw out the first pitch at the Twins’ home ballpark earlier this month.
