Suffice it to say there is no joy in Walzville. Mighty Kamala, after all, struck out.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), in his first interview following his and Vice President Kamala Harris’s devastating defeat on Election Day, offered his take on what happened.

He’s sad. He’s “surprised” they lost.
And the lesson learned from that humbling defeat seems very clear; he blames Americans for not understanding the campaign’s “positive message.”
Tim Walz has a case of the sads – Blames Americans for not voting for him and Kamala.
“I thought that they were going to probably move towards a more positive message.”

“I think we’re going to have to understand — what type of leadership do they (Americans) want?” Walz explained to WCCO-TV. “We were pledging to be inclusive. We were pledging to bring people in.”
“Donald Trump has said that that isn’t what he wants, and so if that’s what America is leaning towards, I guess for me, it’s to understand and learn more about America because I thought that they were going to probably move towards a more positive message.”
Huh. Yeah, it’s hard to believe that describing voters as “garbage” and basically linking them to Nazis and ‘literally Hitler’ wasn’t quite received as the positive message you had hoped for, Tim.
Truly baffling.

Isn’t that emblematic of the problem with the Harris-Walz campaign in the first place? The sad, mopey, backhanded, “Well, we wanted to give you all this joy, but I guess you guys and gals didn’t want it” mentality.
In other words, “You don’t know what’s good for you. Idiots.”
In another interview with KSTP-TV, Walz indicated that he genuinely thought the momentum was on their side heading into Election Day. Why? Because their rallies were absolute bangers.
“It felt like at the rallies, at the things I was going to, the shops I was going in, that the momentum was going our way, and it obviously wasn’t at the end,” the Governor lamented. “So yeah, I was a little surprised. I thought we had a positive message, and I thought the country was ready for that.”
Two things: It brings a smile to know that this guy, despite the campaign having zero internal polls showing them ahead at any given point, actually thought they were going to win. And again with the America just doesn’t know what’s good for them shtick.
Oh, you can practically hear the Eeyore-level sadness in his voice.

How delusional is this guy? You spent weeks on end leading up to November 5th, likening not just Donald Trump to Hitler but his actual supporters to Nazis for daring to go to a rally in Madison Square Garden. You had Barack Obama out there telling black men they were misogynists if they didn’t vote for Kamala.
And then there was Harris herself, giving a wink and a nod to violence, despite Trump having to dodge bullets during the campaign literally.
Kamala doubles down on her disgusting, inciting rhetoric against President Trump.

Positive message. What positive message, Tim?
Is it any wonder CNN reporter Chris Cillizza, a guy as milquetoast as there is in the world of journalism, described Walz as a “dud”?
