American country superstar arrives on the Gold Coast ahead of his Australian tour

He is about to embark on an anticipated Australian tour.

And American country music megastar Luke Combs was seen getting a much-needed caffeine after touching down on the Gold Coast on Monday.

Luke, who kicked off his Antipodean run with two shows in Auckland over the weekend, cut a casual figure for the coffee run.

The seven-time Grammy nominee, 34, dressed for comfort for his flight in a baggy hoodie featuring the logo of Appalachian State University football team, The Mountaineers.

He also wore a pair of loose-fitting pants with a camouflage pattern and a pair of white sneakers.

The Hurricane hitmaker finished his flight ensemble with a camouflage patterned hat that featured the logo of the National Wild Turkey Association.

Luke appeared a little tired after his flight from New Zealand, spotted sporting a rather exhausted expression as he stepped out on to Australian soil.

He quickly made a beeline for the nearest cafe with a pal, possibly a bandmate, having a chat as the pair eagerly waited for their pick-me-ups.

Luke did not walk away empty handed, carrying what appeared to be a small iced coffee.

Luke will kick off his Australian run with two shows at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on January 24 and 25.

From there, he will head to  Sydney’s Accor Stadium on January 31 and February 1, before rounding out the tour at Melbourne’s Marvel stadium on February 7 and 8.

The tour coincides with the recent release of his fifth studio album Fathers and Sons, in which Luke reflected on his experiences as a new parent.

Luke made one Aussie fan’s dream come true back in September after announcing his Australian run.

Bill Cooper, who is one half of the popular TikTok account Brother Boys, was elated when he found out that he and his brother-in-law Kyran O’Donnell would be a special guest at the country star’s upcoming Australian tour.

He shared a clip of the pair receiving the good news.

In the footage, Kyran is seen excitedly holding his phone to the camera which showed a text message confirming the pair’s spot on the guest list.

‘Guess what?I Your buddy Luke Combs just announced he is coming back to Aus and he wants us there,’ the text said.

The clip then cut to Bill sitting on a chair in front of a laptop as Kyran asked him to read the happy text.

Bill, who was born with Down Syndrome, beamed broadly as he read the message, offering a hearty fist pump and a victorious ‘yes’.

‘Oh my God, yes,’ Bill added, barely able to contain his excitement as he held a hand over his eyes.

Luke revealed that he missed the birth of his second child during his 2023 Australian tour.

He revealed on Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe in June that his wife Nicole Hocking gave birth while he was entertaining Australian audiences.

‘I’ll never forget the craziest day, probably, in my life … close to it,’ Luke confessed.

‘One of the best and one of the worst days in my life at the same time was, interestingly enough, and it’s so hard to wrap my mind around it.’

Luke said that Nicole sent a message to him that read, ‘I’m so sorry, I really tried to not have the baby while you’re gone.’

‘And God, dude, it sucked,’ Luke elaborated.

However, Luke was still able to witness the birth via FaceTime.

‘I got to see him be born, which was awesome,’ he emotionally detailed.

‘He wasn’t born yet, but my wife went, she texted me on the way to the hospital, and he was two and a half weeks early, and I was supposed to be home and I wasn’t.
