As Tim Walz Heads Back to Island of Irrelevancy, He Endorses David Hogg for DNC Vice Chair

Remember when Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was everywhere, all the time? Since he and running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, lost the presidential election in November, we’ve thankfully heard far less from Walz, but he’s still kickin’, and now he’s announced a “big” endorsement.

Former Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has endorsed March For Our Lives co-founder and Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg for vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, POLITICO reported Friday.

Hogg’s “unique ability to connect with the American people and to speak to the strengths of our party,” Walz told POLITICO. “This is exactly what we need right now: experienced, thoughtful and energized leadership that meets people where they are and takes bold action to win.

This would be the same David Hogg who claimed that Walz is “the definition of what healthy masculinity looks like” and enthusiastically helped him during the 2024 campaign.

Then he tweeted: “I’m meeting with a group of researchers and activists to discuss how Democrats win back young men. What questions would you be most interested in asking?”

My question would be: How can a young Harvard person like yourself look down on young men who want lower prices on food and gas and more freedom?

Tim Walz’s Self-Implosion Continues During Press Gaggle, and John Fetterman’s Reaction Is Priceless

Walz states: “I couldn’t be happier to throw my support behind him and his vision for the party, and I look forward to working with him every step of the way.”

Hogg, of course, is best known for his gun control advocacy.

Hogg helped launched the nationwide gun control movement following the 2018 fatal mass shooting at his high school, Marjory Stoneman Douglas. The massacre on Feb. 14, 2018, left 17 people dead in the worst school shooting in Florida history.

Yet Hogg was only speaking for himself. Most people know of Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was one of the victims of the shooting. He has used his loss by advocating for stronger action and argues that bulletproof glass metal detectors, enhanced door lock systems, ID checkpoints, and “school marshals” can help prevent school shootings.

In contrast, David Hogg has used his voice for March for Our Lives, an organization designed to block our inherent gun rights. Like Harry Sisson, another DNC hacktivist who is paid by the DNC to spread malicious propaganda to people on TikTok and other social media outlets, Hogg has used his social media clout to spread misconceptions about gun control and other progressive issues.

Then, too, he bullied the sponsors of Laura Ingraham’s show after Laura shared a mean tweet about him. Hogg also once aspired to be as successful as My Pillow guy Mike Lindell but with none of his charisma or basic business understanding.

Yet he is angling to be DNC vice chair. While the Democrats are trying to figure out why they lost the 2024 elections, they can’t see that far leftists like Hogg will keep the Democrats losing.

Hogg, 24, has also stated he wants to run for Congress when he reaches the age of 25. This reminds me of the movie “Election” with Reese Witherspoon as Tracy Flick, an overachieving student who thinks she is above everyone else because (she believes) she is the smartest person in the room. Hogg appears to be on that same wavelength.

Walz certainly seems to have a knack for picking winners.
