Aussie business owner compared to Princess Diana after her partner cheated on her with multiple women – as she issues a public apology for her previous comments about infidelity

An Australian podcaster and business owner has issued a public apology for previously judging other women who got cheated on — after it happened to her.

Lucy Jackson, 34, revealed on TikTok that prior to getting cheated on herself, she had the ‘mentality [that] only girls that let it happen or whatever’ had unfaithful partners.

Meanwhile, Lucy’s fans are also comparing her to the late Princess Diana after she wore a chest-baring black gown to a hens party over the weekend.

On Saturday, Lucy attended Niki Wescott’s hens do at Marman restaurant in Burleigh Heads, Queensland

In striking contrast to her best friend and the bride-to-be, Lucy wore a strapless and sultry floor-length dress that sat low across her chest.

She paired it minimal gold jewellery, a full face of glam make up, and a black leather and leopard print clutch purse.

Meanwhile, Nikki beamed in a silk white slip dress that cascaded over and flaunted her figure.

She teamed the backless number with an iridescent clutch purse and statement earrings.

The best friends mirrored and contrasted each other’s ensembles as they posed up a storm entering the Mediterranean restaurant for an afternoon of celebratory cocktails.

‘Our girl is getting married soon,’ Lucy captioned the snaps shared to Instagram.

The pair started fashion label Jagger & Stone together after they found runaway success with an Instagram account documenting the outfits they wore to music festivals.

The Gold Coast duo – who now have a podcast, merchandise, a wine label, a clothing brand, and an influencer business – are one of the ‘mini media empires quietly growing in Australia’, according to the Australian Financial Review.

‘It’s giving Princess Diana revenge dress vibes,’ one of Lucy’s 111,000 Instagram followers commented on the pictures.

Earlier this month, Lucy revealed that her ex-boyfriend had moved out of her house just two weeks after moving in with her and saying ‘I love you’ for the first time.

She uploaded three explanatory videos to TikTok revealing that she’d learned he had cheated on her with ‘multiple women’ and also urged her followers not to contact or harass her ex, who also deactivated his public Instagram account.

In a new four-minute monologue, Lucy said that she’s been ‘truly humbled’ by the experience as she returned to work after her heartbreak.

‘I will have to keep saying this, but please do not reach out to this man, or say nasty things about him,’ she began.

[Posting the videos] ‘is just about me processing my own situation.

‘Cheating is a very complicated thing and I will say that that cheating itself wasn’t even the thing that hurt me the most.

‘I think that good people can make mistakes and there is always space to give people second chances. But honesty and truth and owning your behaviours are the true signs of character.

Earlier this month, Lucy revealed that she'd found out that her partner had cheated on her 'with multiple women' weeks after moving in with her

‘I truly used to think of other girls and women that you only get cheated on if you’re… Not that you’d let it happen to you but…I always used to think that I was the kind of person who’d be able to pick up if someone was a cheater,’ she said, choosing her words carefully.

‘Naturally, that made me think that I would never be the kind of person that got cheated on.

‘I’d be so supportive if any of my friends got cheated on but I didn’t think it would happen to me.

‘Now I feel so shit about having that attitude in the past and I wasn’t being a girls girl.’

Lucy said she felt the need to issue a public and formal apology for her prior mentality and any harmful opinions she may have voiced on her Happy Hour podcast because of it.

‘I feel so truly humbled and I almost need to do a public apology to girls that have been cheated on,’ she said.

‘I think that’s been one of the biggest learnings of this whole situation for me. I will endeavour now to change that mindset.

She went on to say that she’s reflected on her opinions and found that cheating ‘doesn’t say anything about the person that gets cheated on.

‘It says so much about the person that did the cheating… and you’re the poor girl that happens to be in the relationship with them at that time.’
