Thrifty shoppers are racing to Big W to get their hands on the very popular ‘Doyoueven’ athleisure wear for a fraction of the price.
Fans of the popular fitness brand spotted the products on the shelves recently, noting they were only $25.
The core range from Doyoueven costs anywhere from $65-$85 online, making the Big W offering even more appealing.
‘I love this brand and so does my daughter but we just cant afford the full-price sets at the moment. I am so excited to see it at Big W,’ one fan wrote on a video showing the pieces in store.
Speaking to FEMAIL a Doyoueven founder and CEO, Ediz Ozturk revealed the Big W range is slightly different to the core range, with a focus on accessibility.
‘In the DTC range, customers can expect high GSM fabrics, innovative design details, and performance-focused pieces that serve both intense workouts and lifestyle needs,’ he explained.
‘At the BIG W price point, we’ve tailored the selection to keep many of these benefits while ensuring it meets a more accessible price. For example, you’ll find quality materials and classic designs with a bit of extra versatility for everyday wear, perfect for those just starting out or looking for reliable basics,’ he said.
One customer, who said she used to work at the company, felt the Big W range and said she thought quality had improved from when she worked there.
The range has been described as ‘simplified’ and ‘versatile’.
Doyoueven was known for its crunch-bum tights and shorts which is not a feature of the Big W line.
‘The BIG W range is a great introduction to Doyoueven for those new to the brand, while still offering value and durability.
‘Long-time fans will appreciate that we haven’t compromised on essentials, but they may notice a simplified approach compared to our premium line,’ Mr Ozturk said.
The cheaper line had thousands excited.
‘It is actually so cute,’ one woman said.
Another added: ‘Stop it I am going in right now!’ after seeing the range online.
‘BLESS YOU. Hope your pillow is cold every night and you find $50 on your next walk,’ one more said.
Big W fans have been impressed with the retailer’s efforts to provide dupes and budget lines of ‘must-have’ products as the cost of living crisis continues.
