Do you remember when political discourse was pointed but generally made some sense? Yeah, neither do I. Nonetheless, since Trump glided down a golden escalator, political rhetoric took an even nastier turn. Sure, the left built effigies of George Bush. They built him up as the next Hitler, but few who had the intelligence of a gnat took them seriously. “Times,” as the saying goes, “have changed.”

Trump broke the left. He caused the faithful cultists and their leaders to lose their cookies over everything he said. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) spent literally years lying about Trump. Russia, Russia, Russia. Schiff’s provable lies are still believed by nuts waving signs and building themselves into martyrs – fantasizing about “saving democracy” with a bullet.
Six years ago, Kamala the talentless cackler with the worst VP poll numbers ever recorded, cackled and joked about killing Trump. Ellen DeGeneres laughed. The audience guffawed and Kamala cackled uncontrollably.

As bad as it got – hold my beer – it got even worse. Democrats ramped up the rhetoric. Trump, they claimed, was an “existential” threat to democracy. Democrat cultists heard the clarion call. For many leftists, it was a call to prayer. Over and over again, it sounded. Trump has been described as the anti-Christ. Worse than Hitler, and what does one do with “Hitler in the crib?” One smothers it.

A nut named Crooks heard the calls to action. Ok, that is just me speculating. I can’t prove that because Crooks was the only non-Amish 20-year-old in America without a social media footprint. Weird. Crooks shot Trump and killed a spectator. The media told America that Crooks’ motive was a mystery. The rhetoric was toned down – for about ten minutes.
By the next morning, the left was back building “OrangeMan Bad” fascist strawmen. Trump was, again, a threat to democracy – a fascist who, apparently, would rule the planet, not with an iron fist, but a golden golf glove. Back to work for cultists.
On Sunday, a would-be-assassin laid in wait, reportedly for 12 hours. Shots rang out, this time Secret Service [kind of] did their job, and an assassin was prevented from firing at the former president. What was the response from the left? One of the more ridiculous came from the wife of Alexander Vindman. She told Americans to calm down. Trump didn’t take a shot to head. No harm done:

I could post another 50 examples of celebrities or post-celebrity washed-up loudmouths making light of the second assassination attempt on Trump. No need. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.
What did I think of this morning? David Muir lying about FBI statistics and fact-checking Trump while he and his sidekick let Harris repeatedly lie. An SKS is not a reliable murder weapon from a distance. So, David Muir, what nonsense is running through your head?
The Media will make every effort to cast this as, somehow, Trump’s fault.
