Brazen couple busted during X-rated act in the middle of a golf course

A jogger who stumbled across a couple having sex in the middle of a golf course says she shared a photo of the brazen act over concerns they were cheating.

The pair were caught in the act by the woman as the sun was setting on Monday at the sixteenth hole of Clarks Beach Golf Club, about an hour south of Auckland.

‘Hey, Romeo, Juliet, 7.15pm on a Monday, really?’ she captioned a photo of the raunchy performance on a local Facebook group.

The woman told local news outlet the NZ Herald she decided to post the photo because ‘someone might have been cheating on someone’.

‘I got my phone and just did a quick video, probably a four-second video, but by that time they had stopped moving, I think they were aware of my presence,’ she said.

‘After my run, I did see a man and a woman like in the distance playing golf, and they looked like they were in their 50s or 60s.

‘So I had a feeling it might have been them, but they weren’t making any eye contact with me.’

In the photo, a bag of clubs was seen beside the couple who were laying on the ground, one with his bare backside out, in the middle of the fairway.

Two golfers were spotted rolling around the fairway of the 16th hole at a small-town golf course in New Zealand (pictured)

The Clarks Beach course in New Zealand gained infamy overnight following the raunchy act

‘I mean, I get the passion, but couldn’t they have at least picked a slightly more private spot? Like, maybe a bush or something,’ the woman wrote in her post.

‘I suppose they were going for the ‘live-action nature documentary’ vibe.’

Social media users were quick to poke fun at the brazen act.

‘Looks like a full moon that night,’ one joked.

‘Nineteenth hole?’ another said.

‘Best publicity the golf course has ever gotten. Everyone now knows about a golf course at Clarks Beach,’ a third commented.

Clarks Beach Golf Club proved it had a sense of humour about the unfortunate incident in a post on its Facebook page.

‘After the giddying heights of viral marketing that has certainly put our golf club on the map… it’s time to get down to business!’ it said.

‘It’s our Annual General Meeting this Saturday at 10am, make sure you are there!’
