Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix was all the talk on social media after his interaction with a Las Vegas Raiders defensive player during a game on Sunday.
Nix and former first-round draft pick Tyree Wilson got into a heated exchange during the game.
It appeared the two players were jawing at each other – with Nix seeming to say that he doesn’t fear anything.
Eventually, a referee had to step in and separate the two players before anything blew over.
Social media caught wind of what happened and Nix’s ‘crazy eyes’ went viral.
‘Bo Nix just explored Tyree Wilson’s soul with one look,’ one fan posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The Athletic’s Ten Nguyen speculated, ‘Based on Nix and the ref’s reaction, Wilson must have said something foul lol.’
Another fan posted, ‘My QB is a psycho. I love it.’
‘Bo Nix has crazy eyes. Tom Brady has crazy eyes. Coincidence?,’ another person posted.
Nix helped lead the Broncos to a 29-19 victory over their divisional rivals, completing the season sweep.
After a sluggish start to his NFL tenue, Nix looks much more composed and is one of the top quarterbacks coming out of this past year’s NFL Draft.
Nix is currently the oddsmakers’ second-favorite for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award behind Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Denver next plays the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football.
