We write periodically about the harridans on ABC’s “The View,” and you might wonder, “Why would you do such a thing? Who cares about what these low-IQ individuals have to say?

There are a couple of reasons for it. One, the show is on one of the big three legacy networks, ABC, and regularly draws in over two million sycophantic viewers. It’s always good to know what the other side is thinking. Two, they expose the liberal mindset in a way that encapsulates everything wrong with mainstream media, and it must be called out and mocked every step of the way. They’ve put a stranglehold on what news you receive in the past—and they would love to do it again.
Three, sometimes it’s just fun watching fools make fools of themselves, and on Tuesday, they were at it again, with co-host Joy Behar making such a grade-school accusation at Donald Trump that it was hard not to snort.
Donald Trump is stopping the nation’s production of the penny, not because it costs more to make than it’s actually worth, no—it’s because the most powerful man in the world is jealous of a president who died 160 years ago:

In reality, the stated reason is that it costs 3 cents to produce the 1 cent piece of currency.
It’s so juvenile that it’s funny, but the laughter stops when you realize they’re getting paid good money for this drivel.

Here is Behar’s piercing analysis, as co-host Sunny Hostin mindlessly nods along in agreement:
During a discussion on ABC’s The View on Tuesday, Behar and her cohosts discussed Trump’s decision to stop ‘producing new pennies’.
The veteran TV host argued that ‘small and petty’ Trump wanted rid of the penny because he’s ‘jealous of everyone’.
‘Trump has loyalty to no one, look what he did to his first Vice President,’ Behar said.
‘I mean it’s really – and he’s jealous of everyone. Now he’s getting rid of the penny, he’s even jealous of Lincoln. He’s so small and petty.’
Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in to agree with Behar and said: ‘Small and petty, absolutely.’

They fail to take into account that other presidents, including their savior Obama, have looked into the matter before because frankly it’s a waste of money. As our Mike Miller reported:

The U.S. Mint reported production of nearly 3.2 billion pennies in fiscal year 2024, resulting in a loss of $85.3 million. A penny cost nearly $0.037 — up from $0.031 the year before.
While $85.3 million might be a toss in the bucket of the more than $1 billion per day in spending cuts Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) claims to have uncovered, it’s still more than $85 million, and the cost would surely continue to increase if production of the penny were to continue.
We’re going to keep calling out the mainstream media because they almost ruined our country by hiding Joe Biden’s mental decline, relentlessly hawking a false “Russia-Collusion” narrative, lying to us about COVID and so much more. These nonsensical ladies might be ripe for fodder, but the garbage they consistently put out with many of their cohorts is actually dangerous.
