Coles shoppers are overjoyed after discovering a ‘genius’ trick that grants them ‘free money’ to spend – and it’s a ‘must’ for Christmas presents.
Taylor, a Brisbane mum, was flipping through her Coles catalogue when she found an exclusive gift card offer that gives shoppers 15 per cent off TCN gift cards.
Until 26, shoppers can purchase a $50 or $100 gift card with 15 per cent off the total amount.
The offer is valid on the ‘active’, ‘shop’, ‘choice’, ‘pamper’, ‘good food’, and ‘cinema’ gift cards.
Customers cannot purchase more than five gift cards per person, and the offer is only available in-stores.
The TCN ‘shop’ card can be exchanged for Uber gift cards, whilst the TCN Good Food will work at most restaurants and bars – excluding fast food joints.
Taylor said, ‘I’m so excited by this offer, it’s kind of like free money.
‘I now have $300 to shop with $45 off,’ she marvelled.
The mum bought several cards to gift her teenagers for Christmas.
She redeemed one of her cards on an online order at Cotton On and couldn’t stop raving about how ‘easy’ and ‘convenient’ it was.
The TCN gift cards can be spent on a myriad of brands and outlets including Rebel, Platypus, Cotton On, Hype, Kookai, Shein, Oodie, and Universal Store.

Many other shoppers shared their joy at the ‘free money’ offer.
‘I bought one for a Christmas gift and saved $15 – plus I got spend $150 on liquor and get $40 off. Christmas is sorted for us!’ a mum shared.

Others were upset the cards aren’t compatible with popular discount retailers.
‘I wish they were for groceries and stores like Kmart and Big W,’ one said.
