As we reported, President-elect Donald Trump was greeted with huge cheers on Saturday at the Army-Navy game.
He was accompanied by a lot of his incoming team, including Vice President-elect JD Vance, in addition to Department of Government Efficiency heads Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. It was a reminder that it’s not just Trump — he’s got a great roster of talented people coming up who will fight to to uphold the principles that we’re all fighting for even after Trump leaves office.

Those three also have a good reason to do the best they can for America because they have young children that they want a wonderful future for.

In fact, Vivek brought his young son Karthik to the game and gave him a great experience.

He took him to the Travis Manion Foundation tailgate party. Their mission is to “empower veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations.”

The Foundation honors 1st Lt. Travis Manion, WSMC, who was killed by a sniper while aiding and drawing fire away from wounded comrades.
He also introduced him to eight Medal of Honor winners. These are real heroes.
Very special to kick off the Army-Navy game with my son & 8 Medal of Honor recipients who have served our country with courage. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/pRsaKsI8iY

Now that’s raising the kid right and teaching him about what’s important.
Karthik also got to hang out with Trump, and it looks like Trump enjoyed that.

One of the things I love about our 47th President is how good he is with kids…actually. pic.twitter.com/hi9myxfHCx

Karthik used JD Vance distracting his father into a conversation to help acquire another cookie. Smart kid, eyes on the prize.
My 4-year-old took advantage of JD’s & my conversation to quietly snag in his 3rd cookie. He was very proud of himself. pic.twitter.com/zl0sX5BBVG

Ramaswamy also made an important point about the importance of supporting Daniel Penny, who Vance had invited to the game.
Our family contributed to this man’s legal defense fund last year because he was wronged. We don’t regret it. Hope Daniel Penny has a bright future & good life ahead. pic.twitter.com/mv6ijrJJPf

His son of course did what every little kid does — made a goofy face.
But I think my favorite part was when Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth was trying to teach him how to do a push-up and his father was encouraging him to hit the floor.
Our next Secretary of Defense knows how to start recruiting them young. Karthik made a new friend today, @PeteHegseth pic.twitter.com/3Ly54mGAgx
