Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has posted scary footage of him falling down the stairs at his house.
The 21-year-old shared the clip on X on Thursday night. It shows him scrolling on his phone as he leaves a room and heads downstairs.
As he takes the first step down, his foot slips on the carpet and sends his body flying into the air.
Arnold’s body slams back down onto the stairs but he manages to grab hold of the hand rail.
He then slides down a number of steps before coming to a stop at the bottom, where he sits for a minute to compose himself.
Fortunately, it appears Arnold escaped without injury. When posting the video on X, he captioned it: ‘Had a rough morning’ with a series of laughing emojis.
Arnold doesn’t have to worry about his health for this week’s NFC Championship game after the Lions crashed out of the playoffs last week.
The NFC’s No. 1 seed were tipped for the Super Bowl all season long but Dan Campbell’s team were stunned by the Washington Commanders on home soil.
Arnold was taken in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft after playing his college football with Alabama.
He signed a four-year contract worth $14.3million that also included a signing bonus of $7.25m.
Arnold started 16 Lions game in his rookie season, missing just the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts through injury.
