Police in Manchester have launched a double murder investigation after two people were found stabbed to death in the street.
Emergency services were called to great Southern Street in Moss Side, less than two miles south of the city centre, after the individuals were discovered.
Despite the best efforts of first responders both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has arrested one man on suspicion of murder and established a cordon as it carries out an investigation.
