Drake snaps up ‘hottest buy in Australia’ despite it selling out on shelves in Perth – and nobody knows how he did it

Global superstar Drake has managed to get his hands on a popular drink that’s been deemed a ‘must-have’ by Aussies.

The Canadian rapper is currently in Perth for ‘The Anita Max Win Tour’ and seemed to approve of the chocolate-flavoured Cocobella – which sold out across supermarkets last year.

Dubbed a guilt-free indulgence, the drink is a ideal for fans of clean eating and chocolate lovers alike.

It’s a creamy blend of coconut water and chocolate flavouring, has taken the health and wellness world by storm.

The One Dance hitmaker shared an image with his 143million Instagram followers holding carton of the flavoured drink.

The Aussie brand was both shocked and surprised Drake secured the in-demand buy as it’s currently sold out in Perth.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Cocobella for a comment.

In December a woman sparked outrage by almost clearing supermarket shelves of the cult-favourite $5.50 item.

The frenzy erupted after the shopper posted about her haul on TikTok, which quickly went viral.

Comments flooded in from disgruntled fans who claimed they haven’t been able to get their hands on a single bottle in months.

‘This is why I can’t find them anywhere!’ one person lamented. ‘Save some for us dedicated drinkers, will you?’

Another commented: ‘I work at Coles, and someone bought $173 worth of chocolate coconut water [on special] – there were 63 bottles in total! No wonder the shelves are empty.’

Fans of the beverage have taken to social media to air their frustrations, with many claiming they’ve been unable to enjoy their go-to drink since it became a viral sensation.

‘I loved this before it was a trend. Now I haven’t had it in ages,’ one long-time fan wrote.

Some are even calling for supermarkets to introduce purchase limits to ensure everyone gets a chance to buy it.

‘They need to start putting one-per-customer restrictions on these,’ one shopper fumed.

The drink’s popularity lies in its rich, chocolatey taste, with fans comparing it to classic chocolate milk – but healthier.
