Eerie final post of Aussie DJ Courtney Mills before she fell to her death from a balcony in Bali – as details emerge about her close brushes with death years earlier

An Australian DJ and OnlyFans star who fell to her death from a balcony shared a post days earlier dancing next to a railing.

Courtney Mills, 37, was visiting her two dogs in Bali when she fell from a balcony at an apartment complex in Kuta on Friday.

She suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital before undergoing several emergency operations when she died surrounded by loved ones two days later.

Ms Mills’ last post to her Instagram page, shared five days before her death, showed her dancing to Aqua’s 1990s hit Barbie Girl and blowing a kiss to her followers.

The post has resurfaced after it emerged Ms Mills had escaped a close brush with death on two separate occasions years before her fatal plunge.

The 37-year-old’s mother, Diane, and sister, Kiani, flew to Bali to stay by her side in hospital.

‘After multiple surgeries and being on life support she lost the fight at 6:38am Bali time,’ Kiana wrote online.

‘We are so grateful to all of them and their unwavering care for Court while she was at the hospital.’

The tragedy on Friday struck less than two years after Ms Mills fell down a flight of stairs in Bali in 2023, which resulted in bleeding on the brain.

‘Can’t believe the news still. A talented DJ and individual gone way too soon. RIP Courtney,’ one commenter wrote.

‘She seemed so happy. Sad news and at such a young age.’

Ms Mills spent several years living in Bali, which she regarded as her second home before returning to Melbourne and moving back in with her family.

The much-loved DJ spun tunes at some of Melbourne’s top nightspots, including Metropol, Cushion, Secret Garden, Hotel Barkley and Motel Eve before launching an international career.

‘She was beautiful, big hearted, happy and go lucky,’ her mum Diane Mayne told Nine News as she fought back tears.

Kiani told the Herald Sun: ‘The most beautiful thing we have been able to do for the last couple of days is sit and reminisce about the incredible life that she lived and how full her life was.’

‘She would fly across the country to do the job she loved so passionately and to her it wasn’t a job, it was a life.

‘Being behind those decks was her sense of freedom and we got to see her light up rooms.’
