Elizabeth Warren Goes Off the Rails With Vile Comment About Shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO

We’ve seen some pretty disgusting responses from the left regarding the shooting of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, including people seemingly celebrating the murder, as well as disgusting comments from people like Taylor Lorenz.

Now, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has stepped into it as well in an interview with Huffington Post, as well as an interview on MSNBC where she voices her bizarre take on the nature of the county and says violence is wrong “but…”

She claimed part of the “deal” of the country was that the rich pay more while everyone else gets a “chance.” No, the “deal” with the country is that everyone is equal under the constitutional rule of law. She then went into attacking billionaires, claiming that when they run things, they squeeze “every last penny.” None of this leftist nonsense is an excuse for shooting anyone.

She went on to say, “Violence is never the answer. This guy gets a trial who’s allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth. But you can only push people so far. And then they start to take matters into their own hands.”

Warren reiterated the same thoughts in her interview with the Huffington Post.

“The visceral response from people across this country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies should be a warning to everyone in the health care system,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) told HuffPost in an interview on Tuesday when asked about the cold response to Thompson’s death, which included celebratory posts on social media.

“Violence is never the answer, but people can be pushed only so far,” Warren added. “This is a warning that if you push people hard enough, they lose faith in the ability of their government to make change, lose faith in the ability of the people who are providing the health care to make change, and start to take matters into their own hands in ways that will ultimately be a threat to everyone.”

So is she saying folks on the left will become violent if you don’t give them what they want/make them happy?

There should be no “but” there in that sentence. No unhappiness about insurance justifies murder.

Warren must have known how much she stepped in it because after she was blasted for what she said, she subsequently issued a “clarification” of her remarks to the Huffington Post.

“Violence is never the answer. Period,” the senator said. “I should have been much clearer that there is never a justification for murder.”

A little late with that now.

But this is an extension of the radical thoughts on the left that Americans rejected in the election.

Warren may not have gotten the memo yet. Not only was her response morally bankrupt, but this attack on the rich and corporations isn’t going to fly anymore either. People have had enough of it and want to move back to sanity.
