Erin Andrews has given her incensed response to a fan on social media who insulted her appearance while working as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports at a recent NFL game.
Andrews worked the San Francisco 49ers‘ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 10 in Florida, with the heat taking an effect on Andrews.
During an interview with 49ers tight end George Kittle, Andrews’ skin was seen glistening for an unknown reason.
Andrews clarified it was ‘full blown sweat’ and she was ‘in need of a shower.’
One fan replied with the weird comment of ‘hot flashing!’
That drew the ire of Andrews on her ‘Calm Down’ podcast, as she saw the comment as beyond inappropriate.
‘Some a*****e wrote “It’s host flashes,” Andrews began. ‘Shut the f*** up. Shut up. Shut up. It’s outside for five hours. Enough.’
The video itself, which was posted to the podcast’s official page had the caption ‘Menopause jokes aren’t funny,’ with an angry swearing emoji.
Andrews’ podcast co-host, fellow sports broadcaster Charissa Thompson, also looked disgusted with the social-media comment against Andrews.
Andrews has worked for Fox since 2012 and later became the network’s top sideline reporter for NFL games.
The game Andrews will be at on Sunday has yet to be officially announced, but is likely to be the 49ers against the Green Bay Packers due to it being the top game on Fox in the afternoon window.
