Gillette partner up with Art of Football to release a new limited-edition football shirt for charity

  • All proceeds from the shirt sales will go to the Football Beyond Borders charity

Gillette have forayed into football before and their latest initiative is for a good cause all in the name for charity.

Collaborating with football culture and lifestyle brand Art of Football, the duo have released a limited-edition football shirt, with all proceeds going to Football Beyond Borders – an education and social inclusion charity using the power of football to change the lives of young people.

Based around Gillette’s iconic ‘The best a man can get’ slogan, the jersey pays homage to its 1980s roots with its dark blue base and stipple gradient-repeat pattern – a throwback look to kits worn in that era.

UK singer Tom Grennan, who re-imagined ‘The best a man can get’ song in 2023 is part of the campaign and was pictured wearing the shirt at its launch.

‘Those who know me know how much I love football and how important it is to me, so I love the design Art of Football have created,’ he said.

‘This whole thing with Gillette, it really wouldn’t be anything without the fans who have supported me and championed me from day one – so this shirt is for them.’
