If I had the misfortune of being a Democrat Senator, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley (MO) — along with Sens. Tom Cotton (AR) and John Kennedy (LA) — is a guy with whom I wouldn’t want to tangle. During an appearance on Fox News on Wednesday, Hawley clearly demonstrated why.

As Democrats across America continue to lose their minds over the work being done by multibillionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), most of them are either clueless, or pretend to be, about what Musk can and can’t do as head of DOGE.
In my favorite silly spectacle yet, House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), whacked-out California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), “Squad” member and House Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and other out-of-control Democrats made complete fools out of themselves during a Wednesday protest against Musk and DOGE. It was truly hilarious.

So during his appearance on Wednesday night’s episode of Fox’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Hawley went bottom-line on the continuing Democrat meltdowns, meaning every word he spoke was true — and then some.
Ingraham gladly kicked off the festivities, no doubt eager to agree with the senator.
Senator, it is amazing that whether you call it turning over the rocks and seeing the creepy crawling things scatter or just sunlight the best disinfectant in Washington. Man, they’re panicking in the Democrat Party over this.

Hawley didn’t disappoint (emphasis, mine).
They’re panicking big time, Laura, because their power base is being threatened. That’s what’s really going on here. I mean, look at what they’re doing over USAID. This is because they’ve used that as their personal plaything, and that includes billions and billions of taxpayer dollars that have gone, yes, to fund outrageous stuff overseas, like trans-affirming projects in Zimbabwe or whatever. But also, let’s not forget to fund their preferred media outlets like Politico and who knows what other Left-wing rags have been getting money. Federal government money from this agency, and there’s been no accountability.
There’s no question that Schumer and the Democrats are genuinely out of control. It’s easy to see that they’re losing it because their “personal plaything” is at risk, will likely be further exposed, and will likely be stopped.
Democrats are melting down because their power base is being threatened.
They’ve used USAID as their personal play thing to fund pro-trans propaganda abroad and their preferred media outlets at home.

Hawley continued to bring the heat:
So yes — what’s happening is Trump is exposing all of this. He is cutting off the liberal supply chains, as it were, and the liberals are just losing their minds. They’re totally losing their minds. We need more of it. You mentioned the IRS. I love it. I love Trump’s idea to get rid of the Internal Revenue Service. Let’s make it the External Revenue Service. Let’s start making these agencies work for the American people.

To deny that Trump, Musk, and DOGE are a “clear and present danger” to the Democrat Party and its personal shell game would be to deny reality. Again, that’s why they’re losing their minds, as Hawley said.

When Democrats lose control — of the majority, I mean — is when they’re at their most delusional. And now that the real sheriff is back at the White House and has brought along a trusty deputy in Elon Musk, who relishes the job of eliminating federal government waste and inefficiency, whatever will Chuck and his Democrat pals in Congress do?
Dunno — but it sure is fun to watch.
