As Trump-supporting Americans across the country sit back with their food and beverage of choice ahead of Inauguration Day festivities, attendees of all political stripes are arriving for President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony in Washington, DC.

The event, as RedState previously reported, originally had been scheduled to take place outside, which is pretty standard practice. But due to bad weather including bitterly cold temperatures, Trump announced on Friday that the gathering – the 60th of its kind in American history – would be taking place in the Capitol Rotunda.
“I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol.”

Though some petulant Democrats indicated they would not be attending Monday’s ceremony in protest of Trump’s Election Day victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, one Democrat who did note he’d be there to witness everything was Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA).
True to form, the first-term Senator did not disappoint, arriving on one of the coldest days of the winter… in a Carhartt hoodie and shorts, which is his apparent outfit of choice on most days:

Fetterman also met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago a few days before his inauguration and joked about wanting to be a “Pope of Greenland” should any deal between them and the United States go through:

Should Fetterman have done some sprucing up before his arrival? Yeah. Will Trump care? Probably not. He’s got much bigger fish to fry in undoing what he can of all the damage Joe Biden has done, and he’s set to get to it as soon as he returns to the Oval Office for the official start of his second term in office.
