Joe Biden took out the norms and stomped all over them with the pardon that he gave his son Hunter Biden which not only pardoned him for the things he was found guilty of, but for anything he might have done over an 11-year period, from Jan. 1, 2014 right up to the pardon on Dec. 1, 2024. So that meant he couldn’t be pursued federally for anything pertaining to Burisma, foreign money, or influence peddling that might have touched Joe. He wasn’t only throwing a protective blanket over his son, he was throwing it over himself as well — perhaps another unprecedented aspect of the pardon.

But Biden is also considering going even further, with preemptive pardons for other people. Some of the names being tossed around include Anthony Fauci and former Wyoming representative Liz Cheney. As I previously wrote, I think it’s likely he does pardon himself right before he goes out the door, along with some of his Democratic cohort, with the excuse that he has to do it because of the evil President-elect Donald Trump.
He’s already made some pardons of criminals that are troubling, although they don’t appear to involve casting a protective net over himself and other Democrats yet.

But one person up there on the list of names being kicked around is Hillary Clinton. Her husband, Bill Clinton, weighed in on that when he went on “The View.” Sunny Hostin asked him about it and ranted about an “enemies’ list.” They truly are fearful of being finally held to account.
🚨 Bill Clinton is open to a preemptive pardon for Hillary Clinton from President Joe Biden

Clinton claimed they would have trouble going after Hillary because Hillary “didn’t do anything wrong.”
They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016? Trump’s State Department found that Hillary sent and received exactly zero classified emails on her personal device. It was a made-up phony story.
That’s complete nonsense. Just forget about all she did, including the bleach bit and everything else James Comey found. He wants to act as if anything involving that would be “made up” by Kash Patel. Does he think everyone forgot? And does he think people forgot about the Steele dossier and who was behind pushing Russia collusion that so harmed the country?
Clinton said if Biden wanted to talk to him about it, he would talk to him, but it was a “personal thing.”
That sounds like he’s signaling he’s open to it.
He “hoped [Trump] wouldn’t do it” — meaning go after Hillary.
Trump, you know, most of us get out of this world ahead of where we’d get if all we got was simple justice. And so it’s normally a fool’s errand to spend a lot of time trying to get even.

Translation: once you get in power, now we should all play nice. And if she didn’t need anything, why would she need a pardon?
If Biden were to issue Hillary Clinton a pardon, that might be some question as to how pervasive it should be. If he’s willing to cut his son 11 years, how much coverage would he give Hillary? At a certain point the stomping on norms while claiming you’re the norm protecters gets to be a little silly.
