Joey King looked ethereal as she walked the red carpet at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards on Friday night in Santa Monica in support of her nominated series We Were the Lucky Ones.
Her custom Miu Miu pastel green and blue dress featured boning in the corset-inspired bodice, lace embroidery and ruffle details.
The bodice of the dress had the appearance of connecting to the long straight skirt via thin straps of blue fabric.
Lace panels ran vertically down the length of the skirt, which also had a slit up the back.
The Kissing Booth star, 25, wore pointed-toe pastel blue Miu MIu shoes with a 4-inch heel which retail for $1,850.
She accessorized with a TAG Heuer Carrera Date 29mm Diamond watch ($3,900) as well as drop earrings and a delicate necklace from DeBeers.
Her hair was done in a half up style with a braid encircling the crown of her head while the rest of her hair fell in soft, romantic waves.
Joey’s makeup looked natural and featured defined eyes and a pale pink lip.
Joey walked the red carpet with her co-star from their Hulu series, Logan Lerman, 33. They were photographed with Logan whispering in Joey’s ear.
Logan is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television at tonight’s 30th Critics Choice Awards.
Whatever Logan said to Joey had her cracking up.
The Ramona and Beezus star has been married to director Steven Piet, 40, since 2023.
The Critics Choice red carpet comes a week after Joey shared a cooking mishap with her Instagram followers.
The actress shared that she threw ‘shallots into a pan of hot oil’ – which led to her getting splashed by the hot oil and burned.
Joey also said that immediately after burning herself, she called her mom, who told her: ‘see that’s why I hate cooking,’ – which Joey relayed to her Instagram followers.
The actress, 25, shared four close up images of her burned face and neck to her Instagram.
One image was a bare picture of the burns after it happened, another was of her with with what appears to be honey which can help healing and reduce inflammation on the burn.
The third photo was a few days after the shallot incident as the burns healed, and the final snap was of her using some sort of ointment on it.
Joey’s cooking mishap comes two months after she said she was ‘proud’ of herself for cooking a pecan pie for Thanksgiving, in images she shared to her Instagram page.
Last month, Joey bleached her eyebrows blonde, which she revealed she did because she wanted to try ‘something different,’ she said on her Tik Tok.

The actress said: ‘I dyed my eyebrows like a week ago. They were like white before and now they just look like the Lorax mustache.’
‘But I kind of love it. But then I saw my mom two days ago and she was like, “I just can’t look at you. You look so weird,”‘ Joey recalled.
‘Guys, I know I look weird. That’s the point. I was like, “Mom, that’s the point. The point is that I’m trying something different.
“I’m gonna dye them back but just let me have this.’
