Americans were shocked and horrified at the video of United Healthcare (UHC) CEO Brian Thompson being gunned down in cold blood in the early morning hours of December 4, 2024, on a Manhattan sidewalk. No matter your feelings about health insurance companies, this was a man, a husband and father, minding his own business, on his way to a meeting. Within days, his alleged killer was caught. While that might be of some comfort to his family and friends, what has happened since is nothing short of horrific and actually gives a glimpse into the twisted thinking of the left.

This Luigi Mangione thing should concern us all, because the level of depravity our culture is now demonstrating is alarming.
The bloodlust from the left is real. These people don’t think normally about human life. From calling unborn children “parasites”, to executing people in…

The suspected killer of Thompson, Luigi Mangione, has accepted roughly $300,000 in donations to a defense fund. Mangione is facing a host of state and federal charges in New York and Pennsylvania, including first-degree murder in furtherance of an act of terrorism and stalking. The legal defense fund was created by something called the December 4 Legal Committee. A press release from the group said that $290,000 had come from 10,000 individual donors. Mangione’s lead defense attorney, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, had this to say in a statement released on Monday.
“Luigi is aware of the fund and very much appreciates the outpouring of support. My client plans on utilizing it to fight all three of the unprecedented cases against him.”

Since his arrest, Mangione has become a cult hero for the left. His good looks surely helped, along with subsequent photos of him released, shirtless with six-pack abs, which had leftist women swooning in their tofu lattes. It was all that was needed to cement Mangione’s social justice warrior status as avenger against evil health insurance companies. Luigi Mangione now had the left openly cheering for murder.

So, who is it that runs the December 4 Legal Committee? Sam Beard and Jaime Peck are spokespeople for the group. They describe themselves as “a team of 15 volunteers around the United States” and add that they were “created independently by Mangione’s supporters on his behalf.” If you need a clearer picture of who Mangione’s supporters are, you can also find Beard and Peck hosting a podcast “about communism and gossip” called “Party Girls,” which includes an episode from December 21 entitled “We raised $175,000 for Luigi Mangione.” Truly sick stuff. Sam Beard also released a statement on the fundraising efforts. It was nothing short of ghoulish.
“We’re thrilled that Luigi is accepting these funds so that he can mount the strongest defense possible. The American private health insurance industry has ruined countless lives by denying people access to basic care and burying families in medical debt. It’s no surprise that Luigi’s alleged actions are understood and supported by tens of millions of hard-working Americans.”
The fact that Mangione comes from a wealthy family and, therefore, should not need a “defense fund” doesn’t seem to be a deterrent for these leftist sickos. However, the number of people who are donating to it is disturbing all by itself, and many of those donations may be coming from Mangione’s age group. A December 2024 Emerson College poll showed that 41 percent of voters aged 18-29 felt Mangione’s actions were “completely” or “somewhat acceptable.”

Would Luigi Mangione be getting the attention and the donations he is if he were not attractive? We know the answer to that, which makes it that much more disgusting. Former homicide detective and Fox News contributor Ted Williams said what most people are thinking.
“I find it sad in America where we can witness one man murdering another man and amplify the murderer. It is appalling to me that anybody would raise even a dollar for a person who killed another person in cold blood. Yes, a person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. However, given everything we know about Luigi…all the evidence points directly to him. I am just shocked that because of a person’s status, i.e. being a health care executive, that anybody in America could be cheering the death of a human being.”
For the left, however, cheering on murder is all in a day’s work.
I know this is not a modern view, but #LuigiMangione didn’t even have the stones to face the man he took out.
He is a complete and total coward.
