Kim Kardashian shared a sweet mom-daughter moment with North West on Saturday while supporting her son Saint at his basketball game.
The 44-year-old reality star was spotted in a lighthearted height comparison with her eldest child, 11, as they stood back to back in line at a dessert shop for a post-game treat.
Dressed in a chic, full-length black fur coat, Kim was just a hair taller than North, who sported a dark jacket paired with eye-catching bright pink pants.
Later, a tender moment unfolded as Kim lovingly cupped nine-year-old Saint’s face in her hands while leaving the shop.
The mom of four, who shares North, Saint, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five with ex-husband Kanye West, kept her look effortlessly stylish with a sleek bun and dark sunglasses, maintaining a low profile.
The family outing came just days after North made a surprise appearance on FKA Twigs‘ highly anticipated third studio album, EUXESUA, which officially dropped on Thursday.
The young artist garnered mix reactions from fans as she fluently rapped in Japanese on the track titled, Childlike Things.
The 11-year-old is no stranger when it comes to music and has followed in her father’s footsteps. Last year in August, she stunned listeners when she also sang in Japanese on his Vultures 2 album.
She also previously announced her plans to release a debut album called Elementary School Dropout, and pays tribute to Kanye’s 2004 LP, The College Dropout.
Childlike Things is the eighth song on the latest album from the British singer, 37, and West begins rapping halfway through the upbeat track.
Upon noticing that the 11-year-old’s feature, social media users quickly took to X to offer their varying reactions.
One penned, ‘Never in my life would i thought i be dancing to a fka twigs + north west collab yet here we are.’
Another wrote, ‘That one new fka twigs song was actually good before she put north west on there for absolutely no discernible reason.’
‘FKA Twigs including North West on the album is… a choice,’ a fan shared, while one added, ‘THE NORTH WEST FEATURE ISNT BAD FKA TWIGS DID IT THIS SONG IS FUN AND CAMP I LOVE IT.’
One X user typed, ‘Why is north west praising god in Japanese on a FKA Twigs album,’ and another penned, ‘fka twigs did NOT make a song with NORTH WEST.’
‘IM CRYING? THE WAY I WAS SO CAUGHT OFF GUARD WHEN NORTH WEST STARTED SPEAKING IN JAPANESE IN THE SONG WE LOVE YOU FKA TWINGS WE LOVE YOU EUSEXUA,’ a fan expressed.
A social media user also shared, ‘North West rapping about God in Japanese as a feature for FKA Twigs was NOT on my bingo card for 2025.’
‘fka twigs randomly doing a jpop song with north west… diva,’ one added, while another typed, ‘okay north west was good on that fka twigs song. the lyric translations r utter nonsense idk WHY she was on it but she served.’
Another penned, ‘The backlash of North West being on Eusexua is the best thing to happen to the album actually. The roll out has been horrendous. Fka Twigs had one chance.’
One fan shared, ‘i would like to apologize to fka twigs and north west, absolutely smashed my expectations tbh, impeccable vibe.’
Shortly after the album became available, Kim proudly jumped to her Instagram stories to plug the song, Childlike Things.
North’s feature on FKA Twig’s latest LP is not the first time the budding music artist has appeared on an album.
Last year in August, she shocked listeners when she also rapped fluently in Japanese on the track, Bomb, for her father’s Vultures 2 album.
While landing the cover of Interview Magazine last year, North opened up about visiting Japan in the past.
In regards to what she ‘loves’ about the country, North explained, ‘Everything. Everybody’s style is on point. Or New York, because the streetwear there is – yes. And New York is really fun.’
A few months earlier, North expressed her desires to release her debut studio album which would be inspired by Kanye’s 2004 LP, The College Dropout.
She made the big announcement at a Vultures 2 listening party in Arizona with her father Kanye – who also goes by Ye – standing nearby on stage.
‘Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out,’ she expressed, which resulted in the crowd to erupt into cheers and applause.
Also last year in May, North made her acting debut as Young Simba during The Lion King’s 30th Anniversary concert.
She took to the stage at The Hollywood Bowl to perform I Just Can’t Wait To Be King while wearing a lion costume.
After belting out lyrics at the crowded venue, North received a standing ovation from the audience.
However, the pre-teen also faced harsh criticism when online as trolls lashed out at her nepo-baby advantage.
Most recently, Kanye took to social media to share a sweet clip of himself ‘training’ his eldest daughter in the recording studio.
In the black and white reel, he showed North sitting on a chair next to recording equipment to help him with his 11th studio album BULLY.
The Heartless rapper uploaded a separate post and penned, ‘This little girl made me love music again.’
‘She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY.’
While also talking to Interview Magazine – where she was joined by mother Kim – North revealed that she has other endeavors she wants to purse aside from music.
At one point, she expressed, ‘I am starting my own clothing line,’ and revealed that it will be named after herself.
The the topic of conversation later shifted to the future, with Kim asking, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’
North replied, ‘I don’t know, because I already do a lot of stuff that I want to be when I grow up. I just want to pursue my careers now.’
FKA Twigs’ third studio album is now available to listeners and contains a total of 11 tracks.
The LP was released under Young and Atlantic Records, with the lead single Eusexua, being dropped a few months earlier in September 2024.
During an interview for Spotify’s “Countdown To” podcast series, the British star opened up about her new music and album.
‘Eusexua is really this mixture of this slightly psychedelic, childlike, playful exploration of what it is to be human.’
‘But then, mixed with that, this raw, dirty, hard, sexual grit as an undertone. Which is what it’s like to be human,’ she expressed.
