Divorcing England rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio and his wife of almost 20 years have put their £3 million family home up for sale as they prepare for divorce, MailOnline can reveal.
Dallaglio, 52, and former model Alice, also 52, the mother of his three children, have been at the four-bedroom property for more than twenty years.
They moved there in 2001 and bought it for £925,000 and now stand to make a killing after the property more than tripled in value.
It is where the couple raised their three children Enzo, Ella and Josie and where Dallaglio was pictured in the kitchen in 2007 as he gave an interview to publicise his cook book.
The house originally went on the marker last year for £3.3million but the asking price has now been reduced by £300,000.
Set in a leafy and exclusive part of Richmond, southwest London it is listed with estate agents Savills and Knight Frank, and described as being in an ‘idyllic private plot’.
Keen cook Dallaglio and Alice would often host dinner parties at the house, and he once said his idea of a good night would be ‘drinking champagne with her’ there.
It is just a few minutes from Richmond Park where Dallaglio has often been seen cycling.

The estate agent’s particulars go on to say that it is an ‘attractive and spacious family home’.
‘The house benefits from an excellent balance between the living and entertaining spaces on the ground floor, with well-appointed bedrooms on the first,’ they note.
‘Discreetly positioned just off the beaten track, it is particularly rare to find a property locally that affords this degree of seclusion and privacy.’
The house has a reception hall, reception room, family room conservatory/dining area, kitchen breakfast room and study.
While on the first floor there is a master suite with bathroom, three other double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The gardens are landscaped and there is also a garden studio designed by Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner Diarmuid Gavin.
Pictures of the bedrooms show modern cubist art works and Alice is a known admirer of Pablo Picasso who her mother Lydia Corbett used to model for.
In 2008, Enzo then just six, was attacked by the family’s pet Rhodesian Ridgeback at the home and rushed to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

In what is thought to be his bedroom is an old Wasps rugby shirt belonging to his dad and a Stamford Bridge road sign – the home of his favourite club Chelsea
Neighbours said it would be a ‘shame to see’ the couple leave as they have become much loved members of the local community.
One said: They have been here for years, and we have watched them raise their three children in the house, it’s such a shame to see them go but that’s life I suppose.
‘The house went on the market last year but they didn’t get a bite, so it’s dropped a bit and the last thing I heard is that it had now sold but I’m not sure.
‘I think they must be still there though as I see them both every now and then, maybe it’s just a question of finalising the paperwork.’
Another said: ‘It’s very private and secluded around here but everyone knows who they are because they are quite friendly and always say hello.
‘I was sad to read they are splitting up, but sadly that the way of the world now for some marriages.’
Earlier this week Dallaglio and his wife were at the Central Family Court in Holborn, London, to thrash out their divorce and the end of their 20 year marriage.

They had known each other for ten years before finally tying the knot and both have been accused of having affairs.
Dallaglio has also been embroiled in a cocaine scandal and had to wind up his business after being told he owed £700,000 in unpaid tax.
They had split up in 2003 after it was revealed Alice had cheated with a pal of Dallaglio, property developer Leon Butler but they kissed and made up, and married in 2005.
In 2020 a court heard he had spent £10,000 in a brothel that offered high class prostitutes and cocaine, and it was said he had paid using his bank card.
A subsequent trial of those involved heard how he had allegedly visited the house, and he was interviewed under police caution with his solicitor but he didn’t give evidence.
His name was linked to the brothel after bank receipts were found in the house showing his name.
