Leighton Meester‘s fans have rallied around the star after she and husband Adam Brody lost their home in the devastating Los Angeles fires.
The Gossip Girl star’s, 38, ‘underappreciated’ pop music is getting a resurgence on the charts, with fans hoping it will help the actress and her husband, 45, rebuild.
‘Can the internet also do what it did for Heidi Montag’s underrated music from over a decade ago to Leighton Meester’s underappreciated bops?’ podcast host Gibson Johns shared on X.
He added, ‘Her house also burned down and this music deserves its moment in the sun!!!’
Rapper Flavor Flav then shared a TikTok video jamming out to Meester’s 2009 song with Robin Thicke, ‘Somebody to Love.’

Meester’s ‘Heartstrings’ album, originally released in 2014, has returned to the iTunes Charts following the surge in her streams, as per Rolling Stone.
The album is currently at Number 21 on the iTunes all-genre album chart.
While primarily known for her acting, the star has also enjoyed success as a singer and songwriter.
Aside from her album Heartstrings, she also released the song Your Love’s a Drug in 2010.
Additionally, she featured on Cobra Starship’s ‘Good Girls Go Bad,’ which charted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
Meester was also featured on the soundtrack to the 2010 film Country Strong, where she played a young aspiring country music singer.

Following the devastating Pacific Palisades fire that destroyed their family home, Pratt rallied his social media followers to stream his wife Heidi’s music.
This surge in support quickly resulted in significant chart success: Montag’s 2009 single Body Language and her 2010 album Superficial both reached No. 1 on the iTunes charts within days.
Shocking photos showed Meester and Brody’s once stunning family home in the glitzy celebrity enclave reduced to a smoking wreck on Wednesday, with the roof burnt away and flames ripping through the rooms.
The windows have smashed and black smoke was seen pouring out of the home.
The Nobody Wants This star and Gossip Girl actress were last pictured in public at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, less than two days before the fires broke out.
The pair bought the home back in 2019 for $6.5million. They lived there with their two young children.
The home had five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three floors spread over 6,000 square feet.
Brody and Meester are among a host of celebrities affected by the blaze.
Firefighters are entering day nine of the battle against four different wildfires destroying a total 38,690 acres with the Palisades fire being 19% contained and the Eaton (Altadena) fire being 45% contained.
Officials have confirmed 25 deaths, 12K destroyed structures, and over 6M residents remain under a critical fire threat as damage and economic loss are estimated to cost between $135B-$150B.
