Marjorie Taylor Greene Nails a Reporter Hounding Her About J6, and You Need to Watch Every Second of It

The press obsession with January 6th has continued apace despite the total repudiation at the ballot box they received in November. With President Donald Trump pardoning most participants, many of which were unfairly targeted for crimes that never should have been charged, in a court jurisdiction that made sure the game was rigged against them, the hand-wringing has only grown. 

As I wrote just after Trump emerged victorious against Kamala Harris, Americans simply do not care about January 6th anymore. They have moved on to issues that actually affect their everyday lives, and the continued virtue-signaling about it from the press has become obnoxious and tone-deaf.

The bigger point here is that no one cares. Americans want cheaper groceries and to be able to buy a house. They aren’t prioritizing the virtue-signaling of left-wingers in Washington over their own well-being. That shouldn’t shock anyone, though it seems to be mind-blowing for the mainstream press and Democrat politicians.

Of course, while that’s obvious to most people, no one has ever accused mainstream journalists of being perceptive. That brings me to a confrontation Marjorie Taylor Greene had with a reporter who was hounding her about January 6th. 

Forget about whether you like Taylor Greene or not. I don’t blame people for thinking she’s been a little out there at times, but what she says here is something everyone needs to watch every second of because it’s bigger than the person saying it.

REPORTER: (Inaudible, but she’s asking whether Taylor Greene will give tours to pardoned January 6th participants)

TAYLOR GREENE: Is this all you really talk about is the J6ers that got pardoned? Okay, are you going to talk about the Biden family that got pardoned? No? 

REPORTER: I haven’t…

TAYLOR GREENE: What about the rapers and killers and murderers that Joe Biden pardoned? There are tons of them. Is that a focus at all? 

REPORTER: Well, I’m asking about January 6th

(Crosstalk) 

TAYLOR GREENE: I know that’s what you’re asking about, and I’m not doing this. This insane place up here and all of y’alls obsessions with January 6th is absurd. Everybody outside of here is sick and ******* tired of it. I’m serious, and so Joe Biden pardons all these murderers and rapists and disgusting people, and then everybody up here has got their panties in a wad because J6ers got pardoned. Like, people that walked through open doors, a lot of them walked through open doors. That’s it. But everybody up here is like, “Ah, J6!” 

Let’s pause there for a moment because I want to note the question that is asked. This reporter’s first thought about January 6th isn’t whether some people deserved a pardon or not. It’s not whether the Department of Justice unfairly targeted people with charges they never would have charged in any other situation. It’s not that the court system and a series of judges made it clear that no one was going to be allowed to mount a real defense. No, this reporter is concerned that Taylor Greene might give some of those pardoned a “tour” of the Capitol.

To be clear, there’s no indication at all that the congresswoman was planning to do that. What this reporter is doing is pushing a debunked conspiracy theory that certain Republicans gave “tours” to people who participated in January 6th before the riot broke out, with the presumption being they were in on it somehow. 

But as Taylor Greene colorfully points out, people are sick and tired of this stuff. January 6th was four years ago. It is no longer a factor in American life, and if voters cared anymore, they never would have re-elected Donald Trump. 

REPORTER: But you’ve been so outspoken about the January 6ers…

TAYLOR GREENE: Yes, I have, but they’re pardoned, and thank God, I hope they go live their lives and can reassemble something back together because they have suffered enough. Go do a story of all the Antifa and BLM people that never served time. Over 95 percent of them. Seriously. Think about that and go do a story on these cities that BLM burned to the ground and they never built back. They raised all that money on ActBlue and they never built those communities back. 

REPORTER: You don’t think it’s a fair question to ask because you’ve been so outspoken…

TAYLOR GREENE: I think I am, it is nauseating. I’ve seen all the Democrat-run networks ad nauseam about January 6th, and they just can’t get over themselves but they don’t give a **** about real Americans. 

REPORTER: The Speaker has created a select committee to investigate January 6th so it’s not like Republicans aren’t talking about it. 

TAYLOR GREENE: No, no, it was your question. “Are you going to have J6ers come in? Are you going to give them tours?” I’m so sick of you people and all this crap. 

REPORTER: The reason why I ask that is that other people have said that and I assume you would be one of the people also having tours because you’re close to some of the people.

TAYLOR GREENE: Because you’re assuming. You know, the problem is you people never gave me a fair shot to begin with, and you had all these assumptions, and all these headlines and all these lies. So you came in asking me, why don’t you do a story on what people care about? People care about the border, the economy, energy. They’re sick and tired of the foreign wars. They’re tired of the hypocrisy up here, and they hate the media right now. They do, I’m serious. You guys have created a situation where you’re not trusted and people are sick of y’all. And it’s sad. I’m serious, it’s sad.

REPORTER: Well…

TAYLOR GREENE: No, I’m not answering this question.

What else can you add to that? Taylor Greene was speaking for a lot of people there. This country has real problems to work through. None of them are solved by press outlets continuing to scream “January 6th” every other sentence. Because they keep doing so is exactly why the legacy media has its lowest approval and trust ratings in history. No one believes these people are sincere anymore. They see them as dishonest activists because that’s exactly what they are.
