Massachusetts Activists Trot Out Young Boy, Convince City to Become Sanctuary for ‘Trans’ Residents

I’m not sure if this story is “life imitating art imitating life” or whatever, but I do know that what happened in a Massachusetts city recently.

As reported by Boston’s NBC affiliate, the Worcester City Council on Tuesday voted to become a sanctuary for “transgender” people as well as those who identify as “gender diverse.”

The petition, which was filed by resident Allie Cislo on behalf of the “Queer Residents of Worcester and Our Allies,” was passed after the council’s first openly nonbinary member, Thu Nguyen, announced a hiatus from the council because the environment in the ultra liberal council was “transphobic.”

The petition specifically calls on the city to not cooperate with federal and state policies aimed at harming transgender and gender diverse people, and to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community has access to healthcare, housing, education, and employment without fear of discrimination.

One meeting attendee told the council:

You have an incredible opportunity as a community to support our children, you have an opportunity to decrease the rates of depression and suicide by showing our children that their safety and dignity are a priority.

“It is your responsibility to stand up and fight for our people, for your people, for the people,” said another.

Did I mention that at one point, activists — some of whom appeared to be dressed in drag — trotted out a seven-year-old boy, who was about to celebrate his birthday, to make their case before the council? Yeah:

People here are trying to control the rights of others and that’s not right. We should make Worcester a sanctuary city for trans people. Everybody deserves to feel safe and everybody needs to feel safe.

I’ve lived here for four  years … my birthday is this Saturday and all I want is peace and for you to vote yes. Please don’t let me down for my birthday. There are a lot of queer people that I love. The kids are watching …

Just think about the indoctrination that young man and his friends have been forced to sit through — and will continue to sit through. It’s not only shameful; it’s beyond disgusting.

A woman in a blue wig and exaggerated, drawn-on, eyebrows told the council, according to the Daily Mail story linked above:

I need this city to protect me because the federal government won’t. If you think you’re afraid of Trump, you should see how afraid of Trump I am. If you say you’re afraid of Trump, and that’s why you don’t want the city to be a safe space for trans people, you better prepare for trans people to make this a very unsafe space.

“‘I’m shaking right now,’ yelled another speaker. ‘”I don’t want to be here right now!”

I’m not a psychologist, but it appears to me that a bit of therapy is in order, here — not a “sanctuary” for very disturbed, if not delusional, people.

And Why the Delusional Fear of President Trump?

Other than the “normal” type of Trump Derangement Syndrome that abounds on the left, these people were obviously freaked out by President Trump ordering the federal government to acknowledge only two genders — male and female, signing an executive order on the day of his inauguration that called for “restoring biological truth to the federal government.”

**Warning: coarse language**

And last Wednesday, Trump signed an EO titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.”
