Matildas star Mary Fowler has proven she is queen of the kids after sharing some heart-warming, behind-the-scenes footage from her new ad campaign for Weet-Bix.
Fowler, 21, posted the vision in an Instagram story on Friday where the Manchester City attacking ace can be seen kicking a ball with a starry-eyed young amputee.
The clip then moves onto show how it was produced, which includes Fowler enjoying a kick-around at a local park before signing autographs.
Naturally, Fowler then declares she is a ‘Weet-Bix kid’ before asking, ‘Are you?’
The footballer follows a number of Aussie athletes who’ve been associated with the iconic brand, including cricket greats Brett Lee and Ellyse Perry, Test cricketer Marnus Labuschagne, tennis ace Alex de Minaur and Socceroos icon Tim Cahill.
It comes as Fowler prepares for a busy few days with her club side Manchester City.
Fowler looms as a key figure in the January 20 WSL derby versus Manchester United, before again taking on the Red Devils three days later, this time in the quarter-final of the Women’s League Cup.
Next will be Matildas international duty, when Australia take part in the SheBelieves Cup in the US for the first time.
Other nations taking part include Colombia and Japan, with the tournament to be staged in Arizona, Texas and California from February 20 to 26.
Fowler also took to Instagram recently to upload a number of images she titled a ‘recap of 2024’.
They included images of her NRL superstar boyfriend Nathan Cleary as well as a series of promotional shots.
The sporting power couple recently spent time together on Hayman Island before continuing their long-distance relationship.
Cleary is yet to return to pre-season training with the Panthers as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
‘It’s pretty much a three or four-month recovery, so it’s been good so far,’ he said.
‘I’m slowly ticking the boxes, and then it’ll start ramping up…’I’m a little bit ahead of schedule, which is cool.’
In October, Fowler and Cleary were spotted at Old Trafford watching Wigan Warriors beat Hull KR in the Super League Grand Final.
They were later seen exploring Manchester and several coastal towns in the UK before jetting out to Mallorca in Spain.
Cleary was also seen in Switzerland as Fowler travelled to face off against the Swiss national team in Zurich with the Matildas.
