Meet Pat Rafter’s model daughter! India, 19, launches a career of her own as she signs with top agency who represent Naomi Campbell

Every Australian tennis fan has heard the name Pat Rafter, but they may not realise that his daughter India is following in his famous footsteps.

The former world number one tennis pro, 52, shares two children – India, 19, and Joshua, 22 – with his wife, former model Lara Feltham, who he married in 2004.

And now it seems that India is set to soar to fame in her own right.

But rather than taking up a professional sport like Pat, India has instead launched a modelling career like her mother, and has signed with one of Australia’s top agencies.

India is now represented by Priscillas Models, which is known for managing huge names in the international fashion industry.

The Sydney-based agency represent Liam Hemsworth‘s girlfriend Gabriella Brooks and 90s style icon Emma Balfour.

Soaring into the spotlight, India is now represented by Priscillas Models and is also carving out a space as a social media star on her social media pages

However, Priscillas is arguably most famous for being the Australian management team for supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Naomi previously told Vogue of the agency: ‘I’ve only ever had one modelling agent in Australia in my whole career and that’s Priscilla Leighton Clark.

‘She’s still my agent, and is a very special lady. She’s very motherly and nurturing. The job is important, but she also cares about the model.

‘She’s remained in my life for all these 30-something years.’

India’s headshots currently feature among the website’s list of talents.

At the age of 19, she is still relatively new to the industry and doesn’t yet boast a portfolio on the management website as she is still carving out her new career.

She also gives an insight into her love of fashion and jet-setting lifestyle on her Instagram page, where she boasts more than 2,000 followers.

On her public account, India shares a whole host of bikini-clad photographs of her during her sun-soaked holidays all around the globe.

She jetted off for a European summer with her friends last year and visited an array of popular beach destinations, including Praiano in southwest Italy.

India also shows off her glamorous sense of style on her social media, frequently sharing snaps of herself dressed to the nines in very elegant ensembles.

While her father Pat spent decades in the spotlight as one of Australia’s most successful tennis stars, he has taken on a lower profile in recent years.

He is rarely seen out publicly with his wife Lara and their kids India and Joshua as the family choose to generally keep their life in Byron Bay more private.

Pat was a hugely popular sex symbol in the late nineties and he proved he had the ability to match it on the court with a hugely successful tennis career.

His greatest accomplishments came at the US Open, where he won back to back titles in 1997 and 1998, propelling him to world no. 1 status in 1999.

He was also named Australian of the Year in 2002 – three years after winning the Davis Cup for his country – and was inducted into the tennis hall of fame in 2006.

Since retiring in 2003, he became an underwear model for Bonds, a brand ambassador for the Mantra Group of hotels and a successful businessman.
