Former First Lady Melania Trump has defended 45th President Donald Trump, stating her husband “is not Hitler.”

On Tuesday, Melania appeared on a sit-down interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” where she ripped the “terrible” Democrat attacks against her husband, comparing him to the dictator Hitler.

“It’s terrible,” Melania, 54, said. “He’s not Hitler. All of his supporters, they’re standing behind him because they want to see the country successful — and we see what kind of support he has.”

“He loves his country and he wants to make it successful … for all of the people. You know, he loves people and he wants to make this country great again,” she added.

Melania’s comment came after Democrat vice presidential nominee Tim Walz (D-Minn.) compared Trump’s Sunday Madison Square Garden rally to a pro-Nazi event held in the arena’s predecessor site 85 years ago.

“Donald Trump’s got this big rally going at Madison Square Garden,” Walz said during a stop in Henderson, Nevada. “There’s a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the 1930s at Madison Square Garden.”

Left-leaning networks also pushed the comparison by putting together footage from the hateful 1939 rally by the German American Bund with clips of Trump’s supporters at Madison Square.

However, the Trump campaign said the comparison was a “shameful” attack.

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris suggested that Trump was a tyrant-in-waiting who admired the Nazi leader — as she argued her GOP rival wanted to gain “unchecked” authority after the November 5th election.

“It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, the man who is responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans,” Harris said at a hastily arranged press event in D.C. “All of this is further evidence for the American people of who Donald Trump really is.”
