Fashion fans rejoiced on social media after Kate Moss hit the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway along with daughter Lila.
Supporters praised the supermodel and said it felt like the show was back to its ’90s heyday with Kate’s stunning appearance – and many were excited about her daughter making her way down the catwalk as well.
Fittingly, Kate, 50, opened up the rock & roll segment of the show, which aired on Prime on Tuesday night.
Kate’s daughter, Lila, 22, joined her – and earned a pair of epic angel wings of her own.
Fans called the mother/daughter duo modeling together ‘iconic’ – although some gave Lila the dreaded ‘nepo baby‘ title on social media.
‘KATE MOSS WE ARE IN THE MF 90S,’ a user named Jack the Queen tweeted, and his followers wholeheartedly agreed.
X users (formerly Twitter) called the supermodel ‘iconic,’ said they were ‘obsessed’ with her appearance, and described it as a ‘full circle’ moment.
Other X users said she was aging like fine wine and called her ‘THE OG SUPER MODEL OF ALL THE TIME.’
Many called it Kate’s ‘comeback,’ although the English supermodel is still a fashion week fixture, often spotted alongside her daughter.
Fans rejoiced because Lila Moss walked in the same show, flocking to the Victoria’s Secret Instagram comments section to celebrate.
‘Kate and Lila in the same show? and VS at that? ICONIC,’ one raved, as VS replied, ‘Surprise!’
‘I screamed! So iconic,’ another viewer agreed.
However, not everyone appreciated Lila’s model walk.
One person tweeted, ‘It would honestly be best to get rid of the nepo babies (Lila Moss, Gigi, etc, and influencers as well)… feels like it cheapens the brand more and the opposite effect would come from having new faces (and when I say new I means NEW NEW, like not popular influencers or people).
Another criticized, ‘hair flat, ugly lingerie, no wings in sight, Lila moss, slickbacks, nepo babys, not one ounce of diversity… apparently the secret of Victoria is how to flop.’
Lila was snapped getting ready ready backstage in Brooklyn for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show earlier on Tuesday while surrounded by makeup artists.
Kate shares Lila with Jefferson Hack, who she dated from 2001 to 2004, welcoming their daughter in 2002.
