Music icon Dionne Warwick wades into viral Brittany Broski Apple dance push taking over the internet

Dionne Warwick is weighing in on the viral video in which a man appeared to push influencer Brittany Broski as she danced to Charli XCX’s popular track Apple during a recent show in Southern California.

The famed singer, 83, who was inducted this weekend into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, took to X/Twitter to react to the viral footage Monday.

‘Now this is just crazy,’ the East Orange, New Jersey native said in response, adding the phrase, ‘Security!’

The vocalist, whose hits include I Say a Little Prayer and Do You Know the Way to San Jose, was among thousands of people to state their opinion on the incident involving the TikTok influencer Broski, 27.

Broski was among 17,500 fans present at the Charli XCX and Troye Sivan show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles earlier this month, according to the Yahoo Entertainment affiliate Pride.

Broski at the Sweat Tour show donned a black wig with bangs where she was seen on the jumbotron when Apple was performed.

The song has a complementary dance that went viral thanks to a display on TikTok from actor Kelley Heyer, leading Sweat Tour to have a special Apple dance camera during the concerts.

As Broski – whose kombucha sampling clip five years ago established her as an influencer – was dancing, a man in a netted top appeared to barge in on her space in a clip filmed at the show, then began dancing to the song.

The incident involving the social media star attracted a variety of responses – with one user claiming the exchange was ‘premeditated’ on the pusher’s part.

‘I keep analyzing this video because he pushed Brittany Broski so seamlessly that she didn’t even know what was going on,’ a user said. ‘And then he immediately got into position. It’s like he was planning for this.’

Another user said, ‘I’m no brittany broski supporter but second girl was just dancing with someone, the man full pushed her away.’

One user added, ‘I’m gonna say it, I don’t care that brittany broski got pushed out of the way.’

Another user said they were ‘gonna be brittany broski getting pushed while doing the apple dance for halloween.’
