Need a workation? Fascinating interactive map created by AI reveals 50,000 digital-nomad-friendly hotels and apartments containing ergonomic chairs and desks

Dreaming of a vacation but too much work to leave your laptop behind?

This interactive map could help you find the perfect base to enjoy a workation.

The map was created by TripOffice.com, which used AI to find digital-nomad-friendly hotels and vacation apartments around the world.

TripOffice.com trained its AI model to spot images of remote-work-friendly rooms with ergonomic chairs, desks and monitors.

The result? A world map with over 50,000 rooms and apartments that offer a dedicated workspace.

Digital nomads can zoom in on an area of their choice on the map to see the options available. They will then see a photo of the accommodation’s workspace and a rating, and can book the room through TripOffice.com if it meets their requirements.

The map reveals that the U.S is the best location for nomads looking to work abroad, with 30,596 rooms listed.

The AI model identified over 2,000 rooms with a workspace suitable for a digital nomad in Florida alone.

Over 150 of them are in central London.

Meanwhile, in Asia, it’s China that offers the most choice for remote workers, with 3,053 rooms available.

India and Japan also have a wealth of digital-nomad-friendly rooms available, with the map registering 1,936 in the former and 1,242 in the latter.

If South America takes your fancy, you might like to consider flying with your computer, mouse and power cables to Brazil, which has 797 spots containing dedicated workspaces.

In general, Africa is sparsely populated with digital-nomad options, the exception being South Africa, which offers 279 rooms deemed workation friendly.
