NEW: Biden Slips in Even More Vacation, Raising Ethical Questions

image

We’re counting down the days until Joe Biden and his wife/handler Jill finally have to leave the White House.

But they seem to be intent upon milking every last bit they can before they are out the door. He’s no longer “working” after January 20, but how much has he actually “worked” since the election?

His time seems to have been full of vacation. There’s his time in Delaware, plus he also took his regular trip to Nantucket over Thanksgiving. Jill snuck in a trip to Italy and France earlier this month. Joe is planning on visiting the Pope next month before he leaves.

Then, on Thursday, he took off for St. Croix until New Year’s with Jill and his daughter Ashley. You know what he told reporters was his “resolution” when he was there last year? It wasn’t to get the American hostages back from Hamas or cure inflation, but to go back to St. Croix this year.

Really focused on the important things for America.

He’s taken this trip over the Christmas holiday in the past, including the last two years.

But you would think he could wait; he’s actually not working. But I guess he had to slip in one more trip on the taxpayer dime. Biden has spent 570 days — nearly 40 percent of his entire time occupying the office — on vacation.

He’s again believed to be staying at the home of billionaire Democrat donors Bill and Connie Neville, reportedly for free, although the White House isn’t talking about it. The home is on the beach and has its own pool.

Biden’s vacations have raised ethical questions in the past for his failure to properly report the free stays like this at the homes of wealthy supporters on his ethics forms. He also gave the Nevilles a prime invite to the White House state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron in 2022, 26 days prior to his stay at their home in 2022.  He also stayed at their home when he was vice president, and that’s listed in the promotional material.

The home is listed as a VRBO home for $900/night. But apparently, it’s all cool if you have the magical “D” after your name like Joe does.

This is his legacy — questionable behavior and how to be completely missing while occupying office. Of course, if he’s on vacation, it’s the same unelected bureaucracy running things as when he’s actually there.

January 20 can’t come soon enough.
