An unearthed ACLU questionnaire is causing headaches for the Kamala Harris campaign and exposing her dangerously liberal beliefs.
K-File unearthed the questionnaire, which was originally pulled down from the ACLU’s website years ago. It was filled out by Harris in 2019 as part of her failed presidential campaign, and her answers represent a direct counter to her more recent attempt to “moderate” on a variety of positions.

There are several toplines to take from this, but perhaps the most insane is that Harris supported a policy of using taxpayer money to give “transgender” illegal immigrants and federal prisoners “sex change” surgeries. It’s so absurd, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s satire from The Babylon Bee
As Kamala Harris pivots to the political center in her campaign for president, a 2019 questionnaire from a leading civil rights organization spotlights her past support for left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners.
In an American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire then-Sen. Harris filled out as a candidate for president in 2020, she also expressed support for decriminalizing federal drug possession for personal use, and for sweeping reductions to Immigration and Custom Enforcement operations, including drastic cuts in ICE funding and an open-ended pledge to “end” immigration detention.
What kind of lunatic wants to use taxpayer money from some blue collar worker to mutilate illegal immigrants as a way to affirm mental illness? It’s hard to even fathom how a person can come to hold such a position, yet Harris did and, as far as we know, still does.

Harris was asked if, as president, she would use “executive authority to ensure that transgender and non-binary people who rely on the state for medical care – including those in prison and immigration detention – will have access to comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition, including all necessary surgical care.”
Harris replied, “Yes.”
“It is important that transgender individuals who rely on the state for care receive the treatment they need, which includes access to treatment associated with gender transition,” Harris wrote in a reply expanding on her answer. “That’s why, as Attorney General, I pushed the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to provide gender transition surgery to state inmates,” she wrote.
This is what leftism looks like. It is a never-ending march into the abyss, common sense and normality need not apply. To further illustrate that, Harris also wrote on the questtionare that she wants to decrease the size of ICE, the federal department that deals with the detainment and removal of criminal illegal aliens.
When asked about criminal justice reform on the questionnaire, she wrote she would end immigration detention facilities (along with private prisons). Harris also said she supported decreasing funding for ICE.
“Our immigrant detention system is out of control, and I believe we must end the unfair incarceration of thousands of individuals, families and children,” Harris wrote. “I was one of the first Senators after President Trump was elected to advocate for a decrease in funding to ICE.”

The vice president now claims that she wants to increase the size of the Border Patrol and ICE, one of her many flip-flops over the years. Yet, on the questionnaire, she proclaimed her support for ending ICE detainers.
Harris also pledged to end the use of ICE detainers – requests by ICE to local or state law enforcement to hold an individual up to 48 hours beyond their release time so ICE can take them into custody for possible deportation.
Detainers largely exist so that the federal government can get their hands on illegal immigrants who have committed various crimes. Without them, there is no practical process to deport them because cities and states with “bail reform” laws will simply release them onto the street before ICE arrives. Harris is apparently supportive of blowing up the entire system and creating a total free-for-all, with normal Americans suffering the consequences.
No doubt, some anonymous aide will be along shortly to tell us she’s changed her mind on all these radical positions, but there’s no reason to believe it. This is who Harris truly is. As Bernie Sanders recently admitted, she is simply doing what she thinks she has to do to win the election. She is still exactly who she was during her failed presidential campaign in 2019. Nothing has changed except the renewal of her thirst for power.
