NFL decides fate of Nick Bosa after he stormed teammate’s live TV interview to endorse Donald Trump

The NFL will reportedly not suspend Nick Bosa after the 49ers star wore a MAGA hat in support of Donald Trump during a postgame TV interview.

After San Francisco’s win over the Cowboys last weekend, Bosa crashed NBC’s postgame interview of Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo to point to his ‘Make America Great Again’ cap.

According to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones, Bosa won’t face a ban for the move – though he could be fined.

That decision will reportedly not be made until later next week, after the presidential election on Tuesday.

Jones also noted that the NFL does have a rule that prohibits players from displaying messages ‘which relate to political activities or causes.’

Bosa was reluctant to speak much about his Donald Trump hat on Sunday night

Notably, Bosa changed out of his MAGA cap for his post-game press conference and declined to speak much about his decision to wear it when pressed by a reporter.

‘I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time,’ he said on the podium – with a different cap on his head.

Bosa was also asked if he had been tempted in the past to speak more about his political beliefs.

‘It’s definitely a little easier nowadays, but no, I don’t feel to inclined to do that,’ he said.

‘It’s just a different climate.’

Bosa has been an outspoken supporter of Trump in the past, as he previously tweeted messages of support for the former President before he was drafted by the 49ers in 2019.
