NJ Gov Phil Murphy’s Admission of Housing an Illegal Backfires, Border Czar Says He’ll ‘Seek Prosecution’

Border Czar Tom Homan, as has been readily apparent from the moment President Trump said “Go,” is not playing around when it comes to securing the border and organizing the most significant mass deportation of criminal illegal aliens in the nation’s history.

He is not to be trifled with. That became even more evident when he called out New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy during an appearance with Fox News host Sean Hannity Monday night.

Murphy, as RedState legend Sister Toldjah reported, made a wild admission of sorts in an interview with the progressive grassroots organization Blue Wave New Jersey.

“[NJ First Lady] Tammy [Murphy] and I were talking about – I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there is someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to,” the Democrat governor confessed.

“And we said, you know what? Let’s have her live at our house above our garage. And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

It’s funny how Murphy took the left’s favorite defense of illegal immigration by reducing it to being “undocumented” to a person whose “immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to.”

A little too wordy for stump speeches and interviews, maybe.

Anyway, bro, if there’s one person on this planet that you don’t triple-dog dare, it’s Tom “Freaking” Homan. Hannity mentioned Murphy’s comments and offered Homan a chance to respond.

Within a couple of minutes, it was apparent that the man who dared the new administration to come and get the illegal alien living above his garage probably should have, to paraphrase Motivational Speaker Matt Foley, shut his big yapper.

‘Time for ICE’: NJ Gov. Phil Murphy Makes Stunning Admission During Illegal Immigration Policy Discussion

“I think the governor is pretty foolish,” Homan correctly pointed out.

“I got note of it. Won’t let it go. We’ll look into it,” he continued. “And if he’s knowingly harboring and concealing an illegal alien, that’s a violation of Title VIII of the United States Code 1324.”

Those wondering about that code can read more about it here.

“I would seek prosecution, or the secretary will seek prosecution,” Homan stated outright. “Maybe he’s bluffing. If not, we’ll deal with that.”

If he’s not bluffing, then whoever is living in the attic might be slipping out as we speak, carrying a piece of luggage and sporting a bunch of “Viva Mexico” stickers.

Whoever it is must be thrilled that the governor was dumb enough to give ICE their exact location.

Homan’s comments suggest that he thinks Murphy is doing little more than posturing, puffing out his chest to pretend he’s the big bad tough guy amid the administration’s crackdown on criminals.

Murphy’s been playing that role for some time now. Upon being sworn in as the Garden State governor in 2018, he vowed to establish an Office of Immigrant Defensive Protection to aid illegal immigrants in his state. It never came to fruition.

Murphy likes to talk a lot as he seeks the role of protector of criminals in his state. Perhaps, this time, he finally said too much.
