Rachael Finch has doubled down on her eight-year-old daughter Violet’s gruelling workout sessions after coping backlash over them last week.
The TV personality, 36, was slammed last Monday after sharing a video that showed her children Violet and Dominic, five, undergoing training drills day and night.
But the model hasn’t let naysayers slow her down, as she took to Instagram again this week to share footage of her daughter playing tennis and doing sprint training.
The first video shared to Rachael’s stories showed Violet garbed in her tennis skirt uniform as she ran across a tennis court, playing against her opponent.
Moments later, Violet could be seen going straight from tennis into sprint training with champion jumper Adam Rabone as her coach.
‘Play smart,’ Rachael captioned the first video, with the second saying: ‘Sprint training with the sprint master himself @adamrabone.’
It comes after Rachael and husband Michael Miziner were slammed for sharing a video showing her two children undergoing gruelling tennis training sessions.
The model shared a montage video last week that showed her children Violet and Dominic undergoing various training drills both day and night.
The video showed the brother and sister in a rigorous training mode, including strenuous box jumps on a park bench, squats and serving drills.
Captioning the post, Rachael said that she and Michael, who appears in the video, were instilling a work-ethic in their young children.
‘They may or may not play at Wimbledon. But they will learn a lot about themselves and what they’re capable of in the process,’ she wrote.
‘It’s our job to figure out ways to teach them drive, passion, self-respect and work ethic,’ she said.
‘How to build something they can be proud of. How to show up, even when you don’t feel like it.’
Rachael finished the post with: ‘By far the hardest job, but certainly the most rewarding.’
One now former follower took severe umbrage with the video, feeling it necessary to reply to Rachael directly informing her that she had lost a fan.
‘Really horrible to watch,’ the disgruntled fan wrote, which Rachael screenshot and shared to her Instagram story. ‘Unfollowing.’
Appearing unperturbed by the negativity, Rachael captioned the post with a flippant: ‘Okie dokie.’
Aside from the negative message, Rachael’s video appeared to be met with a flurry of positivity, with many praising the couple for instilling drive in their children.
‘What we live by,’ one follower wrote. ‘Proud of you all—it’s not easy but it’s damn worth the life lessons alone.’
Another chimed in: ‘Love this Rach! I hope to emulate the same one day. Instilling discipline and work ethic from a young age is invaluable. They will love you for it.’
A third however, suggested that Rachael and Michael were still being too soft on their children, jokingly commenting: ‘Not pushing them hard enough.’
The video comes after Rachael and Michael took the kids for a pre-Trick Or Treat exercise session.
Rachael took to her Instagram Stories on Halloween to share footage of her children exercising in the park.
Michael was seen training Violet and Dominic in a field, with the children doing sprints, catching balls and other exercise.
Rachael also shared a picture of Michael holding both children in his arms and wrote: ‘If they enjoy it they more than likely keep it up.’
Soon after, the model shared an ‘outfit change’ for her kids, revealing Dominic dressed as the Grim Reaper and Violet as a spooky princess.
In April, Rachael was branded an ‘almond mum’ and accused of ‘endangering’ her kids after sharing a video of herself making them ‘naked burgers’ using lettuce cups instead of bread rolls.
‘Almond mum’ is a pejorative term for a mother who pushes disordered and unhealthy eating habits on her children. It is often used to refer to parents who are ‘obsessed’ with nutrition.
A fired-up Rachael said the baseless accusation was frankly ‘hilarious’.
