#1 – The Fallout From the Kamala Harris ‘Drunk’ Video Gets Even More Brutal — by Sister Toldjah
There may be some truth to all of that. As RedState readers will recall, there were reports galore during her vice presidency quoting people who’d worked for her while she was California’s Attorney General and later, their Senator, who talked about what an awful person she was to work for and what an outright diva she was, a pattern that reportedly continued when she became the Vice President.
That being said, I think people on both sides of the aisle would agree that politics ages people, in some cases unmercifully. I remember seeing photos of what George W. Bush looked like before and after his presidency and Barack Obama as well, and it reminded me that public office – especially the highest office in the land – is not a place for the faint of heart.
#2 – NEW: Jack Smith and Merrick Garland Prepare One Last Surprise for Donald Trump — by Bonchie
While the Jim Acostas and Rachel Maddows of the world are going to get really excited about this, I’m less concerned about the whole ordeal. Far from being the “historical record,” it will be the word of a man who served as a partisan apparatchik for an administration seeking to put its political opponent in jail to influence an election. Whatever he releases will just come across as the last shallow gasp of a failed special counsel.
To put it simply, no one cares about this anymore. If any of this mattered, Kamala Harris would have won the election. No doubt, Smith’s report will include lots of salacious nonsense meant to spoil Trump’s second inauguration, but it’s ultimately powerless. In that sense, I’m almost happy it’s being released. It’ll be entertaining to see Joy Reid and company whip themselves into a lather over something that will have zero impact on the incoming administration.

#3 – Sen. Kennedy Delivers Epic Thanksgiving Message to Trump Supporters and Hollywood Types Who Insult Them — by Nick Arama
Sean Hannity asked Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) what he thought about this, and true to form, Kennedy delivered an epic Thanksgiving message for Trump supporters and the Hollywood types who insulted them.
Here’s what I think. I think these people are goofy. They have the right to their opinion, but they’re just goofy. They hate George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head.
They think our kids ought to be able to change genders at recess. They carry around Ziploc bags of kale to give themselves energy. To me—to each his own. To me, kale tastes like I’d rather be fat.
Now, these people are entitled to their opinion, but they have an unwarranted sense of moral and intellectual superiority. They think they’re smarter and more virtuous than the American people. And they think we’re not real people. But we were, and we are real people,
And in this last election, we got real mad, and we sent a message, clearly, unequivocally. And my message to all my friends and my enemies in America is: Happy Thanksgiving, and stay deplorable, my friend.”
#4 – Adam Schiff Copes and Seethes After Jack Smith Drops Trump Charges, but There’s More to His Crying — by Bonchie
Like a child who touched a hot stove and blamed his mom for leaving it on, Schiff isn’t telling the whole story here. For instance, did you know that the January 6th committee refused to share testimonies and information with the DOJ for a period of time because it was “protective of its work?” Now, ask yourself. What exactly was a powerless, partisan House committee seeking to protect in that scenario when it was the DOJ, not Congress, that had the legal ability to prosecute Trump?
The answer was their egos. Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Bennie Thompson, Adam Kinzinger, and the rest of the current and former House representatives on the now-defunct committee wanted their moment in the sun. They wanted their “report” to be a huge production that influenced the 2022 election and earned lavish praise from the press. To be sure, that’s what they got, but what they weren’t counting on is how badly they had screwed the timeline up in the process.

#5 – Has the Mystery of DB Cooper Finally Been Solved? — by Jeff Charles
The case of DB Cooper – the unidentified man who disappeared after hijacking an airplane over Oregon in 1971 and parachuting away with $200,000 – has long been a mystery that eluded the authorities while generating many theories as to who the culprit might have been.
A modified military surplus parachute, believed to be tied to the caper, was discovered on the property of Richard Floyd McCoy II’s family in North Carolina. McCoy has long been suspected by amateur sleuths as being the individual who pulled off the heist because of similarities between the 1971 hijacking and a 1972 crime that bore an eerie resemblance to the original.
A YouTuber and investigator named Dan Gryder uncovered the parachute after visiting the family property in 2022. Gryder, who has researched the case for more than two decades, referred to the parachute as “one in a billion,” according to Cowboy State Daily.
