Reese Witherspoon made heads turn while attending the the Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovators Awards in New York City.
The Legally Blonde star, 48 — who is reportedly ‘having fun’ dating financier Oliver Haarmann — looked radiant alongside her 21-year-old son who tagged along to the star studded bash held at the Museum of Modern Art.
On Tuesday, she posed up a storm on the red carpet in a black bodycon one-shoulder dress that flaunted her petite figure.
She teamed her elegant look with black heels and simple gold hoop earrings while appearing to be in good spirits.
Her sun-kissed locks were let loose, cascading over her shoulders as she enjoyed her evening in the Big Apple.
The actress was joined by her 21-year-old look-alike son Deacon, who she shared with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. He looked dashing in a navy suit and black loafers.
His honey-toned locks were pushed to the side as he lit up the red-carpet with his radiant eyes and smile.
The Big Little Lies star also posed alongside big tech star Tim Cook, who serves as CEO for Apple.
She also smiled alongside pop star Ariana Grande who flaunted her tiny figure in a sheer-white gown.
Other A-listers at the glamorous gala include Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz and Emily Ratajkowski, each showing off their unique styles at the night dedicated to innovation and creativity.
However, Witherspoon’s 57-year-old boyfriend was missing from her side after an insider close to the pair said the actress is ‘having fun’ with Haarmann and ‘loves’ that he’s ‘not into Hollywood.’
‘Reese is doing great and enjoys dating. She’s having fun with Oliver,’ a source told People. ‘She often flies between Nashville and N.Y.C. to see him. He’s spending time with her kids too.’
Her low key lover is a minority co-owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders and founding partner of Searchlight Capital.
The actress started dating the businessman after spending time together as friends. It’s not known exactly when and where the new couple met.
Their relationship first caught the public’s attention this past July when they took a helicopter ride together into New York City.
From there they made their way to the L’Artusi restaurant in the West Village of downtown Manhattan for a romantic dinner date for two.
At that time one source claimed they were just ‘friends’, while another said The Morning Show star was ‘taking things slow when it comes to dating.’
But then multiple sources confirmed weeks later, in September, that the pair had in fact started dating after spotting them together in New York City at least two more times within a month.
‘She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son. These are her biggest priorities,’ one of the insiders explained.
Haarmann graduated from Brown University and went on to attend Harvard University to pursue his master’s degree in business administration, according to his LinkedIn page.
