Shannon Beador has shared her reaction to Alexis Bellino‘s firing from Real Housewives of Orange County.
The 60-year-old reality television personality — whose ex-boyfriend John Janssen is engaged to Alexis, 48 — insists she was not connected to Bravo’s decision to let Bellino go.
The women famously clashed throughout the entirety of season 18, which ended in an explosive three-part reunion.
‘I have zero power with the network or production or anyone, and I would never want to interfere with someone’s livelihood,’ Beador told Us Weekly.
Beador then referenced Alexis’ repeated self-appointed ‘TV star’ title in a biting comment.
She added, ‘Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she’s been a TV star for 15 years, so I’m sure she’ll get a new gig sometime very soon.’
In December Alexis appeared on the podcast Going Rogue and announced, ‘I was not asked back next season.’
After appearing as a regular on RHOC from seasons 5-8, she returned to the series as a ‘friend’ in season 18.
‘I can’t say it came as a shock. It did not come as a shock,’ she said on last month’s podcast appearance.
The mother-of-three also described having a ‘hard conversation’ with the Bravo television network.’
Shannon resolved her financial dispute with ex John last fall, bringing their $75,000 lawsuit to a close.
The ‘Bravolebrity’ and her former beau, 64, filed legal papers on November 15 for an ‘unconditional’ dismissal of their litigation in the next 45 days.
The paperwork relating to the lawsuit was titled Notice of Settlement of Entire Case.
In March 2024 Janssen filed a suit against Beador, citing a $75,000 loaned that she had failed to repay.
He claimed she breached a verbal contract and committed promissory fraud in the transaction.
The situation was complicated by Janssen’s engagement to Bellino.
On the RHOC season 18 reunion, Beador said Janssen rejected her offer of $70,000 to agree to a non-disparagement clause for both parties to adhere to.
Bellino argued that the reason her fiancé rejected the deal was to protect himself if false accusations were made about him.
Janssen had previously said on the Bravo series that he was reluctant to pursue ‘legal action’ against his former girlfriend, but time constraints left him with no choice.
‘My hands were tied as I was days away from crossing the statute of limitations of being able to do anything legally,’ Janssen said.
He also said he had proof Beador knew the money was being loaned – not given — to her.
