Skye Wheatley finally shows off the results of her ‘scary’ fox eye lift as she removes post-surgery bandages: ‘Results coming in hot’

Skye Wheatley has showed off the results of her controversial fox eye lift surgery on social media after taking off her post-surgery bandages.

The Australian influencer, 30, recently returned from Turkey after getting the cosmetic surgery, but has generally held off from posting the results online.

However on Thursday, Skye took to her Instagram Stories to give fans a glimpse at the results of the procedure as she filmed herself in her car.

After removing her post-surgery bandages in favour of tape, she took off her glasses and turned from side to side to show her followers her new post-surgery look.

‘Results coming in hot,’ Skye captioned a short video in which she showed off both sides of her face.

She explained that she’s keeping her face covered with see-through tape to assist the healing process and prevent swelling after removing the heavy-duty bandages.

The fox eye thread lift raises the edges of the brows using a dissolvable PDO (polydioxanone) thread, aiming to recreate the look of the surgical fox eye lift without the need for an operation.

Earlier this week, Skye revealed why she had decided to keep her face under wraps and not yet fully reveal her face post-surgery.

Fans of the Australian influencer, 30, got a glimpse at the results of the work she had done in Turkey in small snippets shared to her Instagram Stories

In an honest update, Skye, who is two weeks into her recovery, addressed a fan’s question: ‘Why won’t you just show your eyes?’

In response, she wrote: ‘HAHAHHAHAHA BECAUSE I’m 2 weeks post op and I just can’t be f***ed with ppl’s opinions right now,’ she confessed, admitting that the current state of her face is still in the early phases of recovery.

Skye explained that while she’s healing, it will take a minimum of three months for her face to settle, and she expects gradual changes during that time.

‘I can’t show my face yet it’s way too scary, but when I heal more I will show the process don’t worry, she added in another post.

The Big Brother star recently returned from Turkey where she underwent the fox eye lift as well as liposuction, a temporal lift and a blepharoplasty.

The fox eye lift surgery, designed to mimic the red carpet look of the same name, has pulled back the outer corner of her eyes to have the almond shape usually achieved with dramatic eye make-up.

Results from the minimally invasive surgery are said to last for between six and 12 months.

These procedures are just the latest in a series of operations Skye has undergone over the last decade.

She was seen in public for the first time since her various surgeries earlier this month as she posed up for a series of selfies next to her car.

The influencer also revealed bruises around the top of her thighs in a pair of shorts after also getting liposuction during her cosmetic surgery holiday.

The sighting came just days after Skye spoke about her procedures on social media, in response to followers claiming she has a ‘plastic surgery addiction’.

‘Everyone is beautiful with or without surgery, but I think the more damaging thing is to get all these enhancements done without being honest about it,’ she told followers during a live Instagram Q&A

‘There [are] so many girls online who’ve had surgical enhancements and say nothing. I won’t be one of those people.’

However, Skye went on to reveal that she wants to get even more liposuction done after her recent trip, despite previously revealing that her plastic surgeon had told her she ‘doesn’t need it’ and advised against it.

She looked delighted with her results despite the heavy bandages

She also added that she was going for symmetry with her operation, saying ‘I just want it to look even.’

In Australia, the cosmetic surgery industry brought in a number of rigorous reforms backed by practitioners in July 2023.

New rules for Australian cosmetic doctors include a mandatory GP referral before all cosmetic surgery, new testing for body dysmorphia in patients, and a one-week cooling off period between consultation and procedures, plus a crackdown on advertising (including social media) that downplays risks.
