Taylor Swift unveils new koi fish inspired dress during surprise song set at New Orleans Eras Tour stop

Taylor Swift debuted a new dress inspired by her Koi fish-printed guitar while preforming a surprise song set during her Eras Tour stop in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The popstar, 34 — who reportedly feels ‘a tremendous sense of peace’ around NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34 — unveiled the high-low V-neck gown with an orange bodice with a white and blue skirt, on Saturday.

Her new surprise get-up was short in the front and boasted a long train as she twirled around the stage, serenading her 83,000 screaming fans at the Caesars Superdome.

She teamed her look with glittering blue dance heels as she preformed her four surprise songs for the evening.

The 14-time Grammy winner played her 2006 hit Our Song from her self-titled debut album and vocalized her 2017 hit Call It What You Want from her Reputation album, on the guitar.

She then mashed up her 2024 hit Haunted from her debut record with The Black Dog from The Tortured Poets Department, on the piano.

Fans online immediately compared her new gown to a blue guitar she used while on the Speak Now World Tour in 2011 that donned three orange fish around the sound hole.

One devout Swiftie wrote on X (formerly twitter), ‘Can we call this dress the Koi fish dress?!’

Another chimed in, ‘She’s a real life koi fish.’

When the tour wrapped, it was taken to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. In July 2023, the singer quietly remove the instrument and used it on stage at her Kansas City tour stop when she announced the re-recording release of her 2010 album, Speak Now.

During the 1989 set, she wore a sparkly yellow bralette and purple skirt paired with green boots as a nod to the traditional colors of Mardi Gras.

The Eras Tour commenced on March 17 last year in Glendale, Arizona, and grossed well over $1.04 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour in history according to AP.

Her stunning new dress comes after the starlet told fans she handpicked cities with the most ‘enthusiastic’ fans to close out the final shows of her Eras Tour.

The singer said last Saturday during her stint of shows in Florida: ‘We decided, if we’re going to end this tour, eventually it has to happen, we gotta pick the crowds and the cities and the places where the crowds are going to be passionate, enthusiastic, screaming the words to every single song, like the most fun crowds imaginable.’

After wrapping her three-night run in Louisiana, The Lakes singer will jet over Indianapolis and Canada to round out her stadium tour.

Earlier this month, Taylor announced she is releasing her first ever book commemorating her historic Eras tour.

It will include never-before-seen photos from over 100 shows, as well as the chance for fans to own The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD.

The 1 singer described the upcoming book as the ‘official retrospective of the most wonderful tour of her life,’ and will cost $39.99.
