This is the moment a terrified woman was seemingly pushed off a bridge by a bungee jumping instructor despite screaming and clinging to the rails.
In a viral TikTok video, the woman named Cristina can be seen being strapped up as she holds back tears while crying ‘no, no no’ and shaking her head on the bridge in Seville, Spain.
Ducking under the metal rails, Cristina wraps her hand around the bridge’s structure and looks at the body of water below as she takes deep breaths.
The instructor can be heard asking the scared woman’s name as her friend advises her not to look down.
As she pleads not to jump, the instructor begins setting up a selfie stick with a small camera attached to film her leap.
But Cristina, with her hands shaking, swings her arm back over the rail and begs the grinning instructor for ‘one moment please’.
He continues strapping her into protection equipment as she throws her head back and cries: ‘I don’t want anything.’
Then, without warning, Cristina is seen flying off the side of the bridge.
The TikTok video cuts to a slow motion version of the clip and shows the screaming woman’s body jolting forward as the instructor releases her from behind.
Once he lets go, Cristina is flung from the structure and can be seen heading for the lake below.
The footage then switches to the GoPro video which shows the yelling woman dramatically falling, with her body flipping back and forth in the air.
She can be heard screaming ‘oh my goodness’ as she shakes and wobbles on her descent.
At one point, she even shrieks ‘ay mama’ while kicking her legs and clinging onto the rope around her waist.
Cristina begins swinging back and forth with her hair covering her face, continuing to scream the entire time as another person is seen in the background also bungee jumping.
As the chaotic fall comes to a end, the TikToker can be heard taking heavy breaths with a look of relief on her face.
The screams turn into bursts of laughs, and Cristina appeared to see the humorous side to the dramatic event as she captioned the clip: ‘I was told I won the year’s screaming award’.
The footage quickly went viral, and has racked up over 4.2million views since last month but has sparked a consent row in Spain.
Commenting beneath the video, many viewers questioned if she was shoved deliberately off the bridge, even though she was screaming ‘no’.
One TikTok user asked: ‘And if she didn’t want to, why did he throw her away?’
Another said: ‘She said no, why did he push her?’
A third commented: ‘Well he shouldn’t have forced her, she was very nervous.’
One added: ‘I think that if the person says no three times, they should be removed immediately and their money should be returned. But pushing when they say ‘no’ is not right either.’
