The biggest night in music is finally here, with Hollywood’s finest descending upon the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, this evening for the 2025 Grammys.
The awards show, which is being hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, kicked off at 8pm EST/5pm PST and is streaming live on CBS and Paramount+.
The show will raise funds to support fire relief efforts after the devastation caused by the LA blazes which began on January 7 in Pacific Palisades.
It is set to honor the biggest songs, albums, and artists over the last year, and has already been filled with dazzling performances, exciting wins, and epic celebrity interactions.
As with any awards show, it’s also had a series of bizarre looks, shocking incidents, wardrobe malfunctions, surprise appearances, and crazy antics.
Years after he made headlines for his Oscar’s slap, Will Smith made his awards show return when he hit the Grammys stage for a special Quincy Jones tribute.

Years after he made headlines for his now-infamous Oscars slap, Will made his awards show return as he took to the Grammys stage to give a tribute to Quincy Jones.
He gave a lengthy speech, but many people on social media were unamused when he began talking about himself during it.
‘You probably wouldn’t even know who Will Smith was if it wasn’t for Quincy Jones,’ he said.
He went on to talk about how Quincy ‘changed his life,’ pointing out that Quincy produced his show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
He then told a story about how Quincy yelled at him over the food served on set.
‘You want these people to work 16 or 18 hours a day so you realize your dreams, and this is the food you think they should eat?’ Will recalled him saying.
‘I don’t care if it’s not in a budget. You pay for it out of your own pocket. It is your job to take care of these people.’
‘And I’ve done everything I can through my career to try to live up to Quincy’s demand.’
Others claimed it was far too long, and begged for ‘someone to get him off the stage.’

Queen Latifah presented her with the special accolade.
After winning, she reflected on her decades-long career, explaining, ‘I always had to fight for a certain level of respect as a songwriter, a composer, and especially a producer.
‘It’s strange that we don’t think of women as producers … but female producers have always powered the industry.’
She added during the emotional speech, ‘This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices we’ve seen on this stage: talented, hard working people from different backgrounds, with different points of view. And it changes the game.’
Shakia hits the stage for dazzling Grammys performance
The artist sang a medley of her biggest hits after winning the award for Best Latin Pop Album.
The two singers shared in a sweet embrace in the audience at the 2025 Grammys. Taylor even gave Sabrina a sweet kiss on the cheek.

‘We’re gonna dedicate this one to this city,’ he said. ‘I can’t give enough thanks to these places that I rolled around since high school, you know.
‘And most importantly, the people and the families out in the Palisades and Altadena. This is the true testament that we can continue to restore the city.’

Dressed as Michael, Janelle sang his song Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough as a tribute to Quincy Jones, who produced the track.
Stevie Wonder also performed a medley of Blusette and We Are the World, while Cynthia Erivo and Herbie Hancock covered Fly Me to the Moon.

‘I told myself if I ever won a Grammy and I got to stand up here in front of the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels and the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and health care, especially to developing artists,’ she said.
