The Vile MSNBC Headline That Proves You Don’t Hate the Media Nearly As Much As They Hate You

Guess who the legal geniuses at MSNBC seem to be painting as a victim in the Laken Riley murder case, based on a headline they actually published? If you guessed her killer, an illegal alien with ties to Tren de Aragua, you’d be correct.m

In a grotesque display of utter disdain for America and its citizens, MSNBC legal analyst Danny Cevallos wrote an article entitled “Laken Riley’s Killer Never Stood a Chance,” in which he argues that Jose Ibarra, the violent, remorseless thug who took Laken Riley’s life, “apparently had no chance with the judge” who found Ibarra guilty and sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole. 

It’s the sentencing that seems to have gotten under Cevallos’s skin and led to that headline. The judge decided that Ibarra should serve his numerous convictions consecutively and not concurrently, meaning Ibarra will never again be a free man. Deservedly so. Based off that hideous headline, however, it’s easy to conclude that Cavallos, and, indeed, MSNBC, think Jose Ibarra should get out of prison someday and live a life of freedom, something that has been denied Laken Riley.

In short, Cevallos seems to be arguing that Ibarra — who was allowed by the Biden administration to stroll across the southern border in 2022, was flown at taxpayer expense to New York City, and committed a heinous crime against an American in which he left copious amounts of physical evidence — wasn’t given a fair shake by the U.S. justice system. This is the same justice system that is going to house and feed this cretin, again at taxpayer expense, for the rest of his natural life.

If you click through to the article, you’ll see that the headline was stealth-edited to read, “The Guilt of Laken Riley’s Killer Was Never In Doubt,” but Twitter, as always, has the receipts.

I suppose we should give the MSNBC brain trust a nice round of slow clapping for showing a hint of shame and changing the vile headline, but we won’t because the fact is that they left the original one up for over 14 hours.

It’s not the merits of the case that’s the point here; it’s the sentiment of the media as embodied by MSNBC and that sick headline that’s the true story. Illegal alien Jose Ibarra, though undeserving, got the very best of the American judicial system, and he received the verdict he so richly deserved. But MSNBC’s takeaway is that the U.S. is not doing nearly enough for the illegals who are wreaking havoc on our society.

As this article’s own headline says, the media hates you far more than you hate them. 

Is it any wonder that MSNBC is sinking fast after years of pushing garbage like this? The pages of RedState are filled with example after example of corporate media’s hatred for the country in which it’s allowed the freedom to spew its inanities. As Nick Arama reported Friday morning, MSNBC and its bespectacled star, Rachel Maddow, are waking up to some hard truths about their twisted version of “journalism”:

The MSNBC staffers are freaking out because of the possible cuts.

MSNBC stars Rachel Maddow, Chris Jansing and Katy Tur joined a tense 10 a.m. meeting at 30 Rock in Midtown led by NBCUniversal chairman Mark Lazarus, who will lead the new company, sources told The Post.

Staffers fearing looming layoffs peppered him with questions about whether the network will need to change its name, logos and headquarters after reports surfaced that the new entity could be cut off from the reporting muscle of NBC News, sources said. [….]

“Everyone is in a panic because everything is up in the air,” one MSNBC source told The Post.

One big report already shows a significant loss coming to Rachel Maddow. Although they’re going to keep her on, they allegedly cut her salary by $5 million. It’s hard to believe, but they’ve been paying her $30 million a year for working one day a week. But according to this report, now she’s only going to get $25 million. MSNBC isn’t commenting yet on the report. 

Couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people, right? 

All of this is why Donald Trump is headed back to the White House and will reportedly, starting on day one, take action to ensure there are no more Jose Ibarras coming into our country. Trump’s work is made extra crucial due to the years of leftist media pushing a radical open-borders agenda.

This crime should never have happened. Jose Ibarra should have never been here, and Laken Riley should be, at this very moment, getting ready to spend Thanksgiving with her loving family. Shame on MSNBC for their terribly bad take.
