Trump’s Great Bronx Barbershop Chat Revealed Big Problem Under Harris’ Economy That Shocked Even Him

President Donald Trump lit it up over the weekend at McDonald’s in Bucks County, PA. He worked the fry station and the drive thru window.

It got all kinds of attention and he looked like he was in his element. The left lost their minds over it, which made it extra hilarious.

It showed once again, Trump’s natural ability to interact with people as opposed to Kamala Harris’ lack of ability. It was a brilliant campaign move and brought epic images including this one.

He was also cheered by steelworkers in Latrobe, PA and at the Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday.

And Kamala? She spoke to…Al Sharpton.

But Trump also had an interesting interaction at a barbershop in the Bronx at the end of last week with Fox’s Lawrence Jones. While some clips leaked before now, Fox ran the spot Monday morning. Once again it showed how comfortable he was, just sitting there, talking with people and taking questions that were important to them.

“Everybody was struck by the sight of him, but once he got in he started cracking jokes and he kind of gave us a warm feeling. Everybody kind of loosened up and as he was walking by, everybody shook his hand,” the barbershop owner Javier Rodriguez Jr. told the New York Post.

Rodriguez is a registered Democrat, but he voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, and said he would be making his decision when he went to vote. His father who used to be the owner, Javier Rodriguez Sr., was also a registered Democrat and he said he would be voting for Trump again.

“I like Donald Trump. I like his policies. I’m a Democrat but I don’t like what Democrats have been doing to the American people. What I like about Trump is first he’s going to lower the taxes on the tips and social security,” he said.

One of them asked what I think has to be one of the best questions Trump has gotten — basically what had he learned, what would he do now differently. Trump said he had to get the right people.

I think the first time he trusted people more and took recommendations. Now we see people who look promising for change, like JD Vance and Elon Musk to deal with government inefficiency.

The customers were of course concerned about the border and the economy. One former police detective said that was the most important issue to him.

The owner told Trump about how his rent had been “significantly lower” five years ago, it’s gone up $1200 since. But the most astonishing thing was what he said about how much his energy bill has gone up under Biden and Harris over the last seven months.

As noted, Rodriguez said his energy bill had gone from $2100 to $15,000. How is that possibly sustainable? You could see how that really hit Trump. He said one of the main things to help bring prices down was dealing with energy — “Drill baby, drill!” — and he wanted to cut present energy bills like this in half.
