WATCH: Former Kenyan Leader’s Based Remarks About Trump and Freezing Aid Go Viral

President Donald Trump has come in like a whirlwind with a mandate for change, and he certainly is bringing it, trying to cure a lot of the damage that Joe Biden wrought.

He’s already shown an immediate change in border security, with illegal entry numbers dropping dramatically since he came in and started enforcing the law.

He’s also thrown Democrats into conniption fits by freezing aid while it’s being reviewed. But that’s such a great thing because he really needs to take a deep dive into where all the money has been going — and why — to see if it’s in the best interests of the country.

Democrats Lose Their Minds Over Trump’s Funding Freeze, Then Flat-Out Lie About Its Impact

While Democrats don’t get it because they like to pretend we have an endless pile of money that we can hand out, former Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta gets it and may just have delivered the best remarks I have ever seen from a foreign leader on the subject. His remarks have gone viral, and it’s easy to see why. He’s talking about countries/leaders who are upset about the freeze on the money and that Trump might not just give out blank checks anymore.

“Why are you crying? It’s not your government, it’s not your country,” he says to cheers from the audience he was speaking on Wednesday at the East Africa Health Security Summit in Mombasa, Kenya.

“He has no reason to give you anything…You don’t pay taxes in America. He’s appealing to his people,” he continued.

“This is a wake-up call for you to say, ‘What are we going to do to help ourselves, instead of crying,'”  he declared to more clapping.

“What are we going to do, yah, to support ourselves? Because nobody is going to continue holding out a hand there to give you. It is time to use our resources for the right things. We are the ones using them for the wrong things.”

Wow. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard such a sensible, clear-headed response. He makes far more sense than most of our Democratic politicians. It’s also in their own interests to be as self-sufficient as possible and resolve spending on the “wrong things,” as he says.

Now there are a variety of reasons we may give aid — through the lens of “Is it in the interests of the United States?” But it never seemed like Joe Biden was looking at it through that lens; he never seemed to have had that basic common sense. Maybe because his focus never seemed to be on what was best for America.

But people definitely loved how based Kenyatta was, including Elon Musk, who is in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) which is evaluating how the federal government is spending our money.
